this is the craziest thing i ever seen...my IV fee bill was shown paid Friday, Sat, Sun, Mon (online system) and now i just logged in to print my BARcode sheet and it shows NOT PAID.... ...did i just loose $400 ? anyone had this problem please someone just tell me this is just NVC's computer error.

nita..i can still print the barcode and the receipt....btw on the recipt page it shows ..

but on the main page..it shows NOT PAID

Then I wouldn't worry about it, send your barcode sheet with your DS-230 and you should be ok!!! Once you have that barcode in your hands, it like GOLD

Just make sure you have that Receipt in hand... Does it show that it was taken from your Bank??

they took the money out of my account the very next day (friday)...calling NVC now...

well i can still print the barcode from the NVC siite itself its and the payment even shows paid on the receipt but just when i log in it says not paid..i just called NVC and the lady said they have not received it yet (i did not mentioned her that i paid it online though lol) ..also i asked her for question #16 on DS-230 father's date of birth and she said put N/A if i dont know it...is this right or should i put UNKNOWN...?

Yes, that's right I think you should write N/A... and a letter attached explaining why you is it unknown... thatt way they won't send you a RFE

We paid a day before you ONLINE too, I think it will be safe for you if you send them the receipt and your bank transaction to show them that you have already paid

i just called NVC and told them i paid the fee online ...lady got really pissed off..lol n i hang up now should i pay the fee again (online) or wait till the IV bill comes in the mail n send money order?

If I am understanding you correctly, although the main page says it is not paid, they have taken the money out of your account and you can print the barcode sheet etc.

Based on this, why on earth would you consider paying it again??

Don't let the NVC intimidate you, if you think an error has been made, call the NVC and ask to speak with a supervisor, explain how you made your payment and how it looks online and let them look in to it and get back to you.

As for your Father's birthdate, if you don't know what it is, I would put Unknown - not N/A - n/a = not applicable - you can't say it is 'not applicable'.

agree with trailmix. dont pay again if they already took the money. my online stuff is showing the same as yours, i paid mine last night, but they havn't taken out the money, but i can print the barcode but it says not paid on the main page, but paid on the receipt lol. i know they usually take the money a little slow, so i expect them to take it sometime today

I agree here. It usually takes a few business days for electronic transfers to work their way through the financial system. I would wait until Friday and check again. If it hasn't been corrected by then I would call and speak to a supervisor at that time.

they should sort it out. if they don't want people paying online, they shouldn't have a link offering it. but they shouldn't get a free 400 bucks either lol

I agree, If you have the barcode printed already, why would you want to pay again??? A barcode sheet is a sign of being paid, otherwise you won't be able to print the barcode!!
