RFE for DS 230 sent to NVC Update

Hi

I have just mailed the RFE for DS-230, which I got in the mail today, My question is that will NVC have a problem with the date on page 2 or not, As I had a original blank copy of page 2, but the date on it was 7-7-08 written on it by my wife and it was mailed to them today on 7-18-08.

i think it should be fine. the NVC sent you back the ds230 for the correction right? they should have a note in their system about the RFE goodluck

They said in the letter to fill out a new DS-230 part 1 and mail it, I had a blank copy of ds-230 with my wife sign on it with the date 7-7-08 on it. Today I did tell my wife to mail another blank copy signed copy of ds 230 today, just in case they have some problem and I will have it ready if case theres a second RFE, I think there should no problem, as NVC told me fix the problem for q2, 20, and 22 and now it is fixed. But after mailing I saw the photocopy and noticed that it I found that I misspelled the middle name for my wife father name. Will this have any effect of my DS 230 or not, please let me know

did you sent it already? and as u mentioned ur reading the photocopy and noticed that your wifes father's middle name is misspelled? bec in the future they might be an issue...try to call the nvc if theres anyway to correct it through the system if not its better to correct it now before its to late... goodluck... next time review all the documents 10x to make sure everything is right bec its takes a lot of time sending and receiving the documents form NVC goodluck my friend.

let me tell u a story. last month when im about to pay the ds230 and aos i have noticed my husband birth year is 1970 instead of 1979 but i filled up all the information right... the NVC enter my husband birth year incorrect. so before i make a payment i want it to be right bec i might have a problem in the future and my case will be delay or something.... i called NVC and inform them about that issue. i email the nvc the same time. and they respond to my email in 9 days. the email sayz its been corrected already... when im about to make a payment online i have noticed it still the same... they didnt make any correction. so i called the NVC again but that time i spoke with the supervisor and i told her i recieved an email stating there that they have been corrected... so the supervisor decided to do it her own to correct the birth year or my husband. she told me to call back in 15min. so i called back after 1hr. everything cools and she corrected it.... u can ask them if its possible to do the correction in the system if not then u have to do it again.. goodluck to u

Sorry to be late for the reply shaman goddess, as I was out of town. Thanks for the reply and the solution you gave me, What I have decided is to wait until NVC receives my documents,which should be tomorrow Monday July 21 and see what NVC does and I should know by Late Tuesday or Wednesday. If NVC gives OK to my Documents, then I will call them and tell about mistake and also send an email to them the spelling mistake. I think I should be fine as RFE was about Q 2, 20 and 22.

It is Jul 21, I am still waiting for DS 230 response from NVC, Hopefully I would know by this week.

It is now a waiting game, to see what happens next.
