I received my AP this past saturday, loaded the car and we were on are way to visit the kids in Canada... had a great 3 day visit was a little nervous as we were approching the border.. we pulled up the gave the officer my husbands passport and my ID and one copy of the AP he lookd at it, not sure if he typed anything into his computer, asked us where we were and why? and said have a nice day, gave us back everything.. never asked a single question about the AP, it was great.. but i am wondering on the AP at the bottom it has 2 squares one with my pic and the other is empty was he suppose to stamp it in the empty square?

I've heard of this happening sometimes..they are supposed to send you into secondary..and thats where they process it and stamp it(sometimes they give both copies back..sometimes just give you one.. someone else will come along I'm sure to tell you more

I used mine 2 weeks ago(for the first time) and they took forever..lol and gave me back a stamped copy

I think ultimately what it means..it technically in the system..you haven't used it..so congrats I guess, just make sure when you use it again..to have both copies and be prepared to go to secondary.

funny how each POE is different huh?

Hi Shawna,

I had my daughter apply for AOS together with me, I think it is the same situation to you. My daughter just turned in 18 years old.

Do you know if they will ask my son go together with me for the interview if the interview is required?

Thank you,
