I will be having my interview june 5th. my husband sent the documents via USPS registered mail last may 7th. it has track no. but it can't be trace anymore after the acceptance. I called the post office here in philippines they don't have the letter package yet, and they said it could take like 3 to 4 weeks or more. my interview date is 13 days from now..

so to be safe my husband wants to send thru fedex a another affidavit of support coz it have to be notarized.

my questions are , is the employment letter need to be original or he can just scan it and send it emails.

is that okay that the Pay stub, 1040 and W2 are only copies and not original? I just want to print this all.

but I wanna know if this all are okay to present at the interview?

pls help.... anyone :crying:

Dora,

If you have to go to your interview with copies then do it.If they dont like them then they will put your case on admin review until you can produce originals.Your other choice is to reschedule the interview and wait for the docs to get to you from your hubbie.Either way you get thru with copies or you reschedule.Remember ...one day at a time.Good Luck!!

Do not judge a man by his mistakes, judge him by what he learns from those mistakes.

Dora, since your husband will be sending the docs via FEDEX then let him send all the docs that you need from him preferably in original form....ikaw na ang magpa-photocopy para in case the Consul gets the original at least you still have a copy to return to your husband. Don't ever use the Philippine Postal System for sending original docs especially if you need them ASAP...they are so unreliable! Sorry to say that even if I am a Filipina....Good luck to your interview!

Hi dora2x,

Hold. ;) You will be fine. I'm on K3 as well. Only the original copy i gave them was the 134 (affidavit of support) , and printed online of my husband's pay stubs, photocopies of tax , and as for employment letter the pre-screener didn't ask this but i gave it together with the tax and pay stubs, well the pre-screener just returned the employment to me and said they don't need it. (that's happened in my interview last May 12, 2008)

Good luck. Just the original affidavit of support and you will be fine, as this is the most important from petitioner that USEM asked from beneficiary.

Hello Rose, ate Precy to, don't worry I think you'll be fine, like what I told you during our eyeball, I only had scanned copies of those documents but my husband still sent to me all those documents(originals and copies) last tuesday via fedex and based on the tracking number it will be here tomorrow(saturday), like you, I was so worried because I told him, I want to get them earlier before my interview on May 29th, he said it'll be fine and I just need to relax because he's sure that I will get it before my interview date(thru fedex it only took 2-3days), he even told me(based on what he researched/read) that the only original documents I will be needing are just the I-134 and the employment letter, but he decided to send as many original copies as he can to me(just to make me feel at ease for worrying too much), the point here is, it is really just the I-134 that's needs to be original and the employment letter, but based on what shape posted here, they didn't even ask for her husbands' employment letter, so no need to worry, and I think it is really right that your husband is deciding to send another I-134 thru fedex, just in case the previous docs didn't get in time, that's exactly what my husband did, two days ago he sent another I-134 and original employment letter as a back up just in case something happened on the previous docs he sent thru fedex again, cheer up Rose! You'll be fine, I have a feeling that your docs will get to you just in time and please insist on him to send another original I-134 as a back-up......you'll be fine Rose, God will always help us and He knows that we're longing to be with our husbands ^_^
