Hey all,

Ya I'm going to move as of May 1 in some preparation. Should I even let the embassy/DOS know of my address change? They don't really concern with the USC much...but wondering.

Should I just let USCIS know in with the AR-11 because they handle the ss and greencard paperwork?

Thanks

Tammy (F)

AP: Over 1 year.

Visa: Nov 2

US Entry: Nov 13, Alhamdulillah.

Tammy, a US Citizen does not need to fill out AR-11 form. So if you are a US Citizen, don't fill out AR-11 and send it to USCIS. You might want to inform the Embassy and DOS about your new address, though it won't make any difference.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
