Hi,

I would like to ask you for help as we would like to start gathering all the documents we are going to need soon, I looked everywhere I could and tried to make a list of everything we need, could you please check it and let me know if something is missing? We would like to protect ourselves from another delay because of missing docs or something so would like to make sure we manage to get everything we need.

Thank you for your help.

PETITIONER has to send to the fiancee:

1) ORIGINAL BIRTH CERTIFICATE (does it have to notirized by public notary as well?????)

2) I- 134 notirized by public notary

3) FINANCIAL INFO REGARDING TO I-134

- statement from an office of a bank or other financial institution where he has deposits, giving the following details regarding to his accoung: date account opened, total amount deposited for the past year, present balance,

- statement of his employer: date and nature of employment, salary paid, whether the position is temporary or permanent

4) ORIGINAL LETTER AFFIRMING YOUR DESIRE TO MARRY YOUR FIANCE(E) and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form. This will be similar to the letter you provided with the I-129F, but dated much closer to the interview (it will have most likely been several months since you submitted your I-129F).

5) 2 – 3 MOST RECENT PAY STUBS

6) BANK STATEMENTS (how many bank account statements??????)

7) COPY OF THE NOA2 (original????)

8) ALL ORIGINALS OF THE DOCUMENTARY PROOF THAT YOU SUBMITTED FOR THE I-129F to your fiance(e) for their interview at the embassy.

9) ORIGINALS OF YOUR PLANE TICKETS, BAGGAGE STUBBS, PHOTOS AND ANY RECEIPTS in the hotel where you stayed together

???10) A copy of your complete Federal income tax return, as filed with the Internal Revenue Service, for each of the most recent 3 tax years. If you were not required to file a tax return in any of the most recent 3 tax years, you must provide an explanation. If you filed a joint income tax return and are using only your own income to qualify, you must also submit copies of you W-2s for each of the most recent 3 tax years, and if necessary to meet the income requirement, evidence of other income reported on you tax returns, such as Forms 1099

???11) Evidence of current employment or self-employment, such as a recent pay statement, or a statement from your employer on business stationery, showing beginning date of employment, type of work performed, and salary or wages paid. You must also provide evidence of current employment for any person whose income is used to qualify.

BENEFICIARY needs for the interview:

everything metioned above +

1) Passport

2) brith certificate (translated into english)

3) divorce decree

4) police certificate (from every country I lived for more than 6 months, translated into english)

5) Photographs (5x5cm) how many?????

6) ORIGINAL LETTER AFFIRMING YOUR DESIRE TO MARRY YOUR FIANCE(E) and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form. This will be similar to the letter you provided with the I-129F, but dated much closer to the interview (it will have most likely been several months since you submitted your I-129F).

7) Proof of ongoing relationship - more recent letters, emails, telephone bills, photographs etc.

Do we need anything else?????? Please let me know if we do or if you have any tips of how many copies of everything we need, what documents have to be notirized by the public notary, what documents have to be originals......

I have got some questions about the medical exam as well, did you have to get some documents from your doctor about the vaccination or anything else?

Im sorry that it is so long, but hopefully it will help other people as well.

Thank you for your answers in advance.

JS

1.No notarizing needed

6. 1 bank statement would do

7. just a copy of NOA2

3.divorce decree transkated too (all docs not in english should be accopmanied by an english translation)

5.In Morocco its 2 for interview & 3 for medical, you just have to wait for the packet 3 & 4 to make sure.

I think you got it right, & I also suggest that you download the forms for interview (DS-156. DS156K. DS230) just to practice on them.

good luck

I sure someone will correct me if this is an incorrect statement.

I do not think you need any of the documents translated for the interview, later you will have to for the AOS process, but not for the interview at the embassy. All documentation is accepted in English or the native language of the country.

that is true for Zagreb Embassy, you need verified copies of documents in native language- not english translations
