I was wondering if its allowed to travel to US with your fiance once the visa is granted. According to the sample DS 156k form Question 34. it says "Names and relationships of persons traveling with you" and sample form is suggesting to put "none" for that question. So now if you put none then that means no one is traveling with fiance. If you put yes that may voilate the K-1 policies. Please clarify.

I don't think it really matters what you put on q34. I think its meant for a situation where an child will be accompanying and adult. If you decide to put yes, put your name and in parentheses write "US citizen fiance." But I'll think you'll be fine if you write none.

That's an excellent question. I will be interested in the responces from others.

I beleive the intent of the question is asking about other persons in the benificiaries home country who will be traveling with them. This is a general use form, so it applies to all sorts of visas, including tourist I imagine. It's very common to travel as a family or group of friends in such a case. If your fiance had a child who would travel with them, then it would be approriate to name them in my opinion.

I would answer none if it will just be the benificiary and the petitioner. You are certainly more than welcome to travel with your fiance.

You can travel with your fiance to the US once the visa is issued.

Thanks for the reply. by the way I have been to lawrance many times. Used to live in Kansas :). I think that question is refering to people from her home country/family memebers. So it should be ok to travel along with fiance into US.

I traveled to the USA with my fiancee.

The line on the DS-156K and other forms that ask about persons traveling with, have to do with persons immigrating with them like a child or foreign husband. We did not put my name on any of the forms, because I am a US citizen, I am not immigrating.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
