I-864: How "official" do bank statements need to be?

For the bank and other financial institution statements required for the affidavit of support (for those using assets to show support), how "official" should the statements be? Do they need to be signed letters from the institution, or can you use the regular monthly statements that you get in the mail? I've been requesting my banks to send me official signed letters verifying my assets, but 2 of them keep messing up the request and it is taking forever to process this....

Thanks!

I believe many have used bank statements without problems, bank statements also help show that you did not give up US domicile.

Many who do DCF end up relying on a Joint sponsor, due to the US Citizen filing DCF having foreign income, and as soon as they move back to the USA they tend to be without job. The counselor officer tends to consider if income will continue after returning to the USA.

Update profile it helps understand your situation, there is no country called N/A, and you are asking about DCF, so should show filed for DCF.

Our interview was last week. I had internet printouts of our bank statements. They were accepted without question.
