AM I TOO LATE?!

On our NOA1 it is stated, that the approval expires 24th or March. I've finally managed to gather all required documents for P3 and sent them on the 25th of February. But I've just read on other forum, that it takes about 4-6 weeks before they call to schedule an appointment. Is that true? Does it mean i missed my deadline?! Because if they call in 4 weeks, I'll already be over my deadline! Or since I've already sent out my documents, i'm all good? What does it mean that approval expires on such and such date anyway? What expires? Does it mean that I have to manage to actually have the visa before that date?

I live in London, so will it help if I go to the embassy personally and...i don't know...tell them to hurry?:-)

Does anyone know what will happen now? What to do? Any advice?!help!

The consulate can and will extend the validity of the I-129F NOA1 letter. If you feel unsure, then send them a copy of the extension request form letter located in the example forms here on VJ: http://www.visajourney.com/examples/extend-approval.doc
