K3 you have to adjust states once you get into the US.

IR1/CR1 you get your green card upon enter. IR1 is if your married more than 2 years, CR! is less then 2 years.

If you filled out paperwork for your daughter to get her US citizenship from her dad, I don't think you have to do anything. I am not positive on that though.

theoretically, a K3 is supposed to expedite your entry to the US by allowing you to travel before your green card is approved

if u choose the K3 you will have to adjust status when you arrive in the US

the CR1/IR1 theoretically is supposed to be longer than the K3 but you get your green card upon entry in the US

the reality is that the K3 is taking just as long as the CR1/IR1 and it works out to be more expensive due to the fact that you have file to adjust status and some ppl believe it slows down the initial approval of your case but that is debatable

I864 delivered November 2nd.....nvc logged it on November 5th

DS230 delivered November 6th.....nvc logged it on November 12th

Welcome to US Letter May 19th

Card production ordered May 25th

Anymore, the K3 is obsolete since they take about as much time to do the CR1/IR route... Plus, you get the green card when you enter with the CR/IR and that is MUCH easier... Pretty much everyone is getting the K3 and the IR/CR at the same time so why do the hassle and waste the $$$....

Still stationed in Germany? Look into direct consular filing DCF! Look through the Consulate's website: http://germany.usembassy.gov/immediate_relatives.html

and have your husband call the military helpline (you should find the number somewhere there as well) and the immigrant visa unit

This might help as well: https://egov.uscis.gov/crisgwi/go?action=of...r.statecode=arm

Good Luck!
