Yeah, a lot of people are in the same boat, it's annoying, but what can you do? I'm going to call them today and get another copy of the NOA1 sent out because I never got mine either, and I filed AGES ago.

That happened to me also. I just called them up and explained to a guy that I never received one. He was really nice and he gave me my receipt number.

We sent in our I-130 on 3/26/07 to NSC, and on 4/6/07 my check for the fee was cleared by the CSC. On 4/9/07, we received the paper copy of the NOA1 from CSC.

You're not alone. I've been reading from the forums that people who have sent their I-130 to VSC, and subsequentially forwarded to CSC, have not yet received the paper copy of the NOA1. If the check is cleared, though, your receipt number is on the back and then you can track online. Of course, this doesn't help when you're filing the I-129F.

Good luck!

I-130: 03/26/2007-07/02/2007 at NSC

NVC: 07/20/2007-11/08/2007

(2 months' additional security checks)

Received Green Card: 05/12/2008

Same boat that yall are in

But I thought for the I-129F, you just need to provide proof that your case is pending, so I sent a copy of my check that was cashed, front and back along with the online form with my case number. I to this day have not received anything from USCIS either. But I mailed my I-129F to Chicago. They can send me a notice if they want that they need the I-797, but as long as they do not cash the other check I sent to them, I guess I will have to wait. Supposedly by June 15 CSC will be compliant. I will be the first person to call if I dont have anything before then.

13 Apr 07 - I-130 mailed to CSC

16 Apr 07 - Rcvd

24 Apr 07 - Inputed in system

27 Apr 07 - Check Cashed

24 May 07 - Verified through Infopass if case number behind check is case number

29 May 07 - I-129F mailed to Chicago

06/19/07 Approved!!!

07/10/07 NVC assigned case #.

10/25/07 NVC Case Complete!!!!

01/22/08 Original Monreal interview- requested to reschedule, told 3-4 month wait.

04/17/08 Interview in Montreal

04/21/08 Received VISA package

06/24/08 Crossed border

07/26/08 Received conditional greencard

07/28/08 Received SSN in mail (went down and applied in person 07/14/08)

08/11/08 Infopass appointment to request 10yr greencard instead of conditional. Mailed out 1-90 with support.

Hey all that want to file an I-129F for K-3 with no receipt for I-130 (797)

I just received my I-797 for the I-129F. It said that it will take 60-180 days for them to process it. I filed it without the I-797 from my I-130 since I did not have it yet. I sent a copy of my check (received from my bank) front and back (shows date cashed and case number of I-130) with the online status form. Im so :innocent: I was having a rough day at work and loosing hope yesterday. I didnt even check the mail, like I did daily cause I was so sad cause I am tired of people asking me about my husband. It is hard to maintain a relationship afar. But I know that all this time and effort and of course money will be worth it when he is here with me :). Dont loose hope yall, you will make it through with your partner :innocent:

I know how you're feeling. I'm not an April filer but early May I-130 filer. Feeling pretty down and worried too. Im also waiting for I-797 in order to include with I-129F packet. May 9,2007 I mailed priority/certified and it was supposed to arrive in 2days, but USPS delivery confirmation date was stamped 05/15/07. The cashier check has not yet been cashed .. :crying: can i just cry.. I spoke to USCIS rep and my name or my husbands name could not be found. I really thought it would take an average 2 weeks to get a NOA1 or something... I mean even if they cashed the check. At least I knew it was being looked at. Really want to get this ball rolling and better answers from USCIS. Aaaaaghhhh.. I miss my husband!!!

... oh well.. this site and reading about others in the same boat is somewhat comforting and helps me to not go crazy. Gwen (L) Ahmad
