Yay!! I got my approval notice for the I 129F! :dance::dance:

I finally have my case going to the NVC!!!

I feel like a deer caught in the headlights. All of a sudden I don't know what I'm doing. I am so happy and I'm freaking out.

I need Misa! You are the only one I know of who just went through the K3 process in Vancouver. I am assuming I am going through Vancouver.

02/18/2008 : Visa in Hand :D

02/26/2008 : Moved to Colorado

I-751 Lifting of Conditions

06/01/2010 : Completed packet for I-751

06/04/2010 : Mailed packet via UPS

06/07/2010 : Receipt for I-751

08/18/2010 : Biometrics appointment

08/20/2010 : Approved

02/09/2011 : Contacted congressman due to non-receipt of card

I apologize ........I got so excited I typed Montreal when I meant Vancouver :blush:

Yeah Montreal is awfully backed up still .......probably closer to 5 or 6 months.

Yippee! I am so glad you got an approval finally! Let me dig up the Vancouver checklist for K3 and I'll post it here for you.

K3 Timeline - 2006-11-20 to 2007-03-19

AOS & EAD Timeline

2007-04-16: I-485 and I-765 sent to Chicago (My AOS/EAD checklist)

2007-04-17: Received at Chicago

2007-04-23: NOA1 date (both)

2007-05-10: Biometrics appointment (both - Biometrics review)

2007-06-05: AOS interview letter date

2007-06-13: AOS interview letter received in mail

2007-07-03: EAD card production ordered

2007-07-07: EAD card received! (yay!)

2007-08-23: AOS interview (Documents / Interview review)

2007-08-23: Green card production ordered!!!

2007-08-24: Welcome notice mailed!

2007-08-27: Green card production ordered again... ?

2007-08-28: Welcome notice received!

2007-09-01: Green card received!

12/25/06 - DS3032 & AOS Fee Bill Mailed (phone system updated 12/27)

12/27/06 - emailed choice of agent; 12/29/06 - received email from NVC confirming choice of agent!

01/01/07 - NVC generated IV Fee Bill (postmarked 1/17 though!)

01/03/07 - returned AoS Fee Bill via Priority Mail (James' shortcut)

01/15/07 - NVC generated AOS package

01/22/07 - received IV Fee Bill - overnighted back to NVC same day

01/27/07 - recieved I864 package; 01/29/07 - overnighted I864 to NVC

01/29/07 - DS230 generated (phone system not updated, email response 2/5/07)

02/05/07 - mailed DS-230 to NVC via express mail

02/20/07 - CASE COMPLETE!!

04/18/07 - INTERVIEW!!!! - APPROVED!!!!

1/25/07 - approved ...NOA2 via snail mail - 1/29/07

03/16/07 - chose not to return packet 3 to Montreal

Okay, here's what to expect next.

1. CSC will forward the approved petition to NVC. CSC tends to "bulk" send approvals and it can take a week or so before NVC receives it.

2. NVC will "process" the approved petition and will assign a case number and forward it to the consulate. You're in Alberta so it will go to Vancouver (lucky!!). It takes only a day or so for NVC to process and send off. About 5-7 days for Vancouver to receive it and enter into the system. Mel will receive a notice from NVC but it usually comes well after the case is already at the consulate. You can follow up with NVC in a week or so to see if they received the petition or not. You will need to either email them or speak to a live person there to get your case number.

3. Vancouver will send you packet 3 (see attached checklist) along with medical info: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...ost&id=3687 The letter that comes with it is usually what is needed at the medical because it has your NVC case number and name on it.

4. Once they get your DS-230 (part 1) and checklist by fax, they will assign you an interview date right away and mail you packet 4 (interview letter) within a few days. I asked for "soonest available appointment" and it was about 1 month from receipt of my checklist to interview. :) You do not have to have the medical done prior to sending them the checklist.

07/26/07 - received Visa from Montreal (should have received 07/24)

07/26/07 - POE Buffalo, NY (Peace Bridge) .. No EAD stamp

07/27/07 - Beautiful marriage .. now you may call me Mrs. :)

07/28/07 - Filed AOS,EAD, and AP for me and AOS and AP for my son via UPS .. received 08/01

08/16/07 - applied for ssn

09/03/07 - received ssn card

11/07/07 - AP approved and received 11/12/07 :)

11/19/07- EAD approved online and received same day (actual approval 11/07/07) :)

12/27/07 - AOS transferred to CSC

02/26/08 - 485's approved without interview

01/14/09 - Sent I-751 - removal of conditions

02/23/10 - Biometrics

03/17/10 - Removal of conditions approved .. card production ordered
