Nagishkaw,

you filed with another Service Center, NealandCari's petition is in the TSC queue

Arnt

All 129-F's that are mailed to TSC and NSC are sent to CSC.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

All 129-F's that are mailed to TSC and NSC are sent to CSC.

The possible date for adjudication that is displayed on our timelines is based on the data all of us enter here, right? The last two or three NOA2's received were not for filers from TSC, but rather from NSC and one CSC (I think). Perhaps that is why those of us from TSC are seeing our date going "south," while those from NSC had their date move up a fraction. If, for example, the next 3-4 NOA2's issued from CSC were all for filers from TSC then our date would move up a fraction, and the NSC/CSC filers' dates would stagnate or move in the other direction. That's kinda how I've made sense of the date differences, because I've seen the same thing w/ someone else's timeline who had a NOA1 date the same as mine, but filed at NSC, not TSC like me.

Even though all TSC/NSC petitions go and are processed at CSC, there is a fractional difference in the #of days it takes to NOA2....from what I have seen usually a day or two difference.

Let's hope all of us can survive the game of Mercy vs Cruelty and come out victors in the end. :)

Could be (I think). I have our timeline Center listed as CSC. We filed through TSC, but were transferred (obviously) so I changed it on the timeline to CSC. I have it listed on the profile as TSC still.

Whew - just confused myself a bit there.

Anyways - maybe that has something to do with the differences?

Our Visa Journey

7/31 - K1 - APPROVED

8/5 - POE @ Dallas/Ft. Worth

The estimates are only as good as the data input to generate it. I've noticed some people put the NOA1 date in the timeline as the date it was received. Others use the day it was issued. Some are still reporting sending to TSC or NSC. I am guessing this causes a slight delay if they actually mailed to wrong center.

I chose to use received NOA1 dates to generate data because these are all coming from CSC now. No matter where they are sent, they should be coming from CSC. Then I took a weighted average of the timelines of the three service centers (ignoring that speedy forth one I won't mention).

Right now, we are averaging about 81 days from NOA1 to NOA2 from CSC. But averages can be meaningless. Just ask people that have been waiting 160 days or more.

If you like details, fwaguy has done a really nice histogram, etc. For me, I will just hope we are all close to that average timeframe.

I would assume if two people put identical data in their timeline, they would get the same projected dates. I will count to 81 from the day my NOA1 issued and I will hold breath while counting!

Cool, all of us w/ a NOA1 date of the 2/27/07 have the same counter! I like it because its not too big or bright. Based on averages, and our NOA1 dates, I guess we can start crossing fingers and hoping in about 30 days or so? Lets hope all of us get approved quickly and without any delays. :) Let's go CSC!
