I wanna convey all the Best of Luck to all my co-CSC transferees who are still awaiting for their speedy processing and approvals.

I agree....patience is definately required with this process. However, as I'm sure others will agree, if there were some sort of fairness to this process then there wouldn't be this need for reminders to be patient. I guess this is what sticks in my throat (old southern saying)...how some gc's are approved in such a short time and others sit and wait...and wait...and wait. If everyone goes through namecheck, then the process for that should be the same amount of time unless something definate about that name comes up.

Karen - isn't that exactly what is happening? process goes as *normal* until a name hit is found.

*sigh* I don't know...are you for certain that's what happens? I'm sorry if this bothered you...but we are a little frustrated. Joel will have to reapply for EAD as others on here have had to do. We'll do it, we have no choice in the matter.

oh karen, it did not bother me at all. I know you are frustrated, and I certainly sympathize. It just seems to me that this IS how the system is working, unfair or not.

Most have seen me say on here before, that normal interview timelines take several months anyway, and if we all went to interviews, then we would be *none the wiser* about namechecks for the most part. You can even see a trend with those who receive quick interviews wind up on the namecheck tracker, but for shorter amounts of time. It appears to me that the CSC transferree-backlog-removal workflow is working, and is also affecting the interviewee's in this way. Again, if under what used to be normal processing for AOS of several months, there would be many less who would get caught up as far as they know.

Is this a regular format when they recieve you RFE response. I'm worried about the fingerprints and interview parts.

We got a virtually identical reply for our RFE. I think it's probably standard verbiage, which doesn't fit the CSC model perfectly.

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.

Thank you, all!

I was starting to worry because it had been a couple of weeks since they reported having received the RFE, and I wasn't sure what that meant! Apparently, it wasn't a big deal.

I won't be able to relax fully until the green card is in my husband's hands, though.
