I am really unsure about the DOCUMENTS and PROCEDURE for AOS in DALLAS. I saw we have to file IN PERSON.... what does that mean?

I already have a completed: i-846, I-485, Almost completed i-325a and I-765.

What else do I need?

The medical, where do I go? Do I need any forms when I go? It looks like the i-693 is completed by the doctor... My wife had her medical done in the Ukraine.

Please I need help...

You can file in person if you wish to go through the D.O.R.A. (District Office Rapid Adjustment) Pilot Program route if you live within the Dallas District, Oklahoma City and El Paso District. But first you have to make an Infopass Appointment on-line. See http://infopass.uscis.gov//. Download the appointment schedule and bring it with you together with the the documents needed as specified in the appointment notice (documents also include the document from the Civil Surgeon; as K1 and whose medical examination was taken only less than a year from your country, only a supplemental form is needed. Tell the Civil Surgeon that you only need the vaccination supplement or I-1693A; you don't need to go through the entire medical examination because you have done it already recently or else they will let you pay more than you should only pay. Scout for a civil surgeon within your area that charge less. See the civil surgeon locator that gives you a list of civil surgeons within your area: https://infopass.uscis.gov/dpp/en/dpp.php ). Don't forget to bring with you your vaccination history form from your country (Ukraine) and let your civil surgeon transfer it to the I-693A vaccination supplemental form. He may give you some shots if you need to based on your vaccination history from your medicals in Ukraine, like boosters or follow-up shots or other vaccinations especially when such vaccines are not available in your country.

The aim of the D.O.R.A Program is to complete the AOS processing within 90 days. We didn't file for EAD (I-765) since this also has the same processing time as the green card if you go via the DORA route and filing for EAD will just be an extra expense. We only submitted our I-485s and G-325's and the pertinent documents required in the appointment schedule and of course, the correct fees. True enough, my 9 year old daughter and I got AOS approval (through email) two (2) months after the D.O.R.A. application. We are still however waiting for our welcome letter in the mail which they mailed 4 days ago. And we are still waiting processing of my other daughter's (who turned 21 after she had complied with her interview and biometrics) AOS. Her case is still pending.

Make sure that you bring all the documents you need and file it well (with cover letter, etc.). If your documents are ok, they will interview you on the same day. Make sure that you pay them in cashier's check or money order payable to USCIS. They don't accept cash nor personal checks. Look online for the exact amount to be paid (for the AOS/I-485 and the biometrics; you can put it in one check. For my application last November 27, we paid for mine a total of $395 including biometrics. We had separate checks for each of my 2 daughters.)

Godspeed,

(F)
