and now you can let your work know u can start ...would you have to wait for the greencard or would they take the notification from CSC to get you working again....

Congrats Waiting in Vancouver :dance:

!!! Glad to see someone close to my date getting something done. Neither my AOS or EAD have been touched since September 18th. Looks like a repeat of the visa interview process I think they just take my stuff and hide it some where for a few months just to mess with my head. Guess I should be use to it by now they even lost my passport somewhere in the office in Montreal the day I went to pick up my visa I sat there for over an hour while they searched the place for it. Anyone have an idea on how long I should wait before I start calling and pi**ing people off by being a thorn in their sides?

Congrats Waiting in Vancouver !!! Glad to see someone close to my date getting something done. Neither my AOS or EAD have been touched since September 18th. On that topic * name checks* do they not do a name check when we apply for the K1 visa? And if so why are so many of us held up there during AOS??? What do they think we could have possibly have done in the space of 90 days?? And yeah I know some people don't apply right after marriage but those of us who do why? Just wondering that's all since I actually have no idea why my AOS hasn't been touched since September and we are just supposing that may be why. Is this a different type of check? And if so why would they waiting until we are actually in the country to do the more extensive check rather than before they allow us to get here? These are just ramblings and the thoughts of a crazy person with to much time to think and wonder on their hands. HELP ME CSC!!! Before I turn into a complete nutcase. Give me a greencard or an EAD so I can get out and work instead of sitting here staring at the walls all day with just the company of a 2 year old. It's sad for a person my age to walk around singing songs from Thomas the Tank Engine videos. :whistle:

You're making one huge mistake here. You're trying to apply LOGIC to the processes of the USCIS.

If we try to use logic, we'd have to try to figure out why I got an RFE on my AOS to prove that my wife is a US Citizen (among other things), even though she could never have sponsored me in the first place if she wasn't. It goes on and on.

Yeah I know there in lies the problem I have always been a logical person I see things as black and white with no grey area in between. Don't these people need some sort of education to work there and what about comman sense are they totally lacking in that I mean come on DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH you got a K1 visa with Holly as petitioner now lets see hmmmmmmmmmm she must be a USC!!! Hey maybe it's the cavemen from that there TV commercial working there and this is their way of paying us back for making fun of them. Hey I'll try any explaination at all.

just thought i would let ya all know my welcome letter an greencard arrived today...whooo hooo with no mistakes :dance: :dance: :dance:

funny enough th last two days i have had touches saying im approved and a notice has been sent out lol

the date on my card is the 25th oct 2006 to 25th oct 2008

so now i got it im now an offical member of the states community...sighhhhhhhhhh

what a belated birthday present an this is the quickest postage i have ever got from them too only took 2 days its usually 8 days lol

now come on CSC give my friends stuck with you their approvals quick smart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they come in seperate envelopes..welcome letter comes in an envelope with u.s. department of state on top left hand corner...the card comes in an envelope with two clear windows at top left it sez p.o box 10765 laguna niguel cal...

and yes i received notices that they were being sent...

was looking at my card and the date intrigues me because approval date is the exactly 4 months after i arrived....approved 25th i arrived in toledo the 25th june...lol

Came home and saw 2 emails from USCIS-CSSO and 3 from CRIS saying my AOS was approved. WAHOO!!! :dance: :dance: :dance:
