gsmaclean make an infopass and explain your case to them politely, this is what I have done. Although they can't make interim EAD at the disstrict office anymore, they emailed MSC to expedite it. I went there on the 18th and in ten days its approved. OR the least give them a call and tell them you are out of the 90 days wait for EAD.

khan, congrats on getting the EAD!

gsmclean, if you're past 90 days from the date your EAD was received, definitely make an Infopass appointment (if the local office is close enough) or at least call USCIS...im keeping my fingers crossed that you'll get some action on it at least before you pass the 90 days tho!

Not to be a party pooper but on his timeline it says he only mailed it Aug 8th so that would not yet be 90 days. It's close though but might be a better idea to wait until it's right at 90 days to avoid the stress of having the stupid people tell you that and waste a trip to a DO.

Well just to add my 2 cents, cause pretty much that is all it is worth. I was under the impression you had to wait til the 91st day after NOA1.

You do, well the date on the NOA1 they say they received it, not necessarily the day you got it in the mail. But since they got an RFE that adds on 90 days after USCIS received the RFE info, doesn't it?

This whole 90 days thing just sucks anyways, seems like they'll find any way to make us wait!

Ya I had given up looking today and closed off the web site ... My wife walked by the computer and did a sent/receive in our email and she said "ummm dear there something here from CRIS " ... I told her to look as I was too scared too ...

What was weird was we got transfered to the CSC back on Oct 26 and since then No Touches, I started to get worried it was lost under a stack of others applications. But then today Nov. 1 , 4 days after being transfered it was approved. Maybe because all our paperwork was in order...? Of course thanks to this board and everybody with knowledge & advice.
