Hi! I'm new here, and i have a few questions regarding my case.

I will be having my AOS interview next month.

1.) I made some mistakes when I signed all the paperworks... I saw 2 mistakes on my G325A... is there any way I can correct them before my interview? will it affect the decision of the immigration officer?

Mistakes- Father's Birthdate should've been Feb 2, 1958 and I saw Feb. 8, 1945

- Month and Year I lived in Arizona should've been 04-2006 to 06-2006, and I saw 03-2003 to 06-2006

2.) I went to a civil surgeon here in California, and he wanted me to take another Xray, and I explained it's not necessary, and showed him the page from USCIS' website. He only performed 2 steps... 1.) Blood test for HIV and Syphillis; 2.) Vaccination-TD.

I have a question, I had my medical examination in the Philippines(st.lukes hospital) and I told them I don't have any information about my vaccination history... so the nurse decided to give 2 vaccinations: MMR(1st shot), and VARICELLA(1st shot). She told me to complete the DOSE #2 when I get here. (DOSE 2 SHOULD BE 4 TO 8 WEEKS FROM DOSE #1).

What do I need to do? because I did not follow having the DOSE #2 because my husband and I were too busy with everything and we forgot to have it done! Do I need to get DOSE #1 again??? Is this really necessary???

Thank you. I hope you won't get tired of my long story... hehehe *blushes*

We had a few minor errors on our applciation as I was on H1B and didn't recall my last date of entry as I am from Canada and they don't always give you a stamp or new I-94. I could remember the month but not date I traveled and so on the application wrote the date on last I-94 I had. The IO ask this question at interview I explained and she didn't seem concerned just corrected and wrote the motnth/year traveled in pen since I didn't know date. She said that was common for Candians. I also put port of entry as LAX but should have been Toronto as I cleared customs at the Toronto airport. oops lol (this was also corrected by IO in pen). I think honest mistakes like that are not a concern. (to think I had an attorney too lol) I had no RFE's and was apporved at interview. I think the best thing is not to bring light to anything but when they ask you anyhting be honest and expalin the situation or mistake.

Best of luck! :)

What process did you use to come to the US? (K1/K3/DCF)

When was your medical interview in the Philippines?

The civil surgeon filled out your 693A vaccination supplement and you submitted it with your AOS, right? Are you asking if the Dose #2 is necessary for AOS?

I came here as a K1 fiancee visa holder.

My medical examination was March 2nd of this year, and I got here(USA) March 28th.

I have submitted all forms- I-485, I-765, and G-325A already with necessary documentations, excluding the I-693 July 31st.

I went to a civil surgeon last week and had the TD and blood test... and I asked if DOSE #2 for MMR and VARICELLA are necessary... and he didn't say anything at all.

I just don't want any problem on my interview, and I'm really curious about this. I did not follow what the nurse has told me while I was still in the Philippines... to get the DOSE 2 of MMR and VARICELLA after 4 to 8 weeks.

Next week, I will be visiting my doctor again to get the I-693 form so I can bring it with me on my interview(AOS) date next month. Please help, so if i will be needing the DOSE #1, since I did not follow instructions, then I can have it done again. :-D

Thanks!

Since you are a K1 visa holder and filed your I485 within one year of your medical exam, you did not need to get another medical examination and I693. See the FAQ EXCEPTIONS #2

It does say that you did need to submit the "I693 vaccination supplement" with your AOS submission. I'm surprised you did not receive an RFE (though I'm no expert on this).

It is possible that your doctor tested your blood to see if you have measles and chickenpox immunity (MMR & Varicella). If you have immunity, that appears to be sufficient evidence for the vaccination supplement. TD is the other shot I would have expected (same as my fiancee).

Hypothetically, I believe if someone goes to a doc and gets dose #1 for MMR, varicella and TD, the doc can fill in the 693 vaccination supplement and you can file it with your AOS application without completing the vaccination series. But I can't answer your question on whether getting dose #2 is technically necessary or if you'd get asked about it.

Since you received the TD immunization, I would expect that your doctor will fill in the 693 vaccination supplement, including something for MMR & Varicella. Hopefully he will do it correctly and you shouldn't worry.

I did not submit the I-693 form because my husband and I didn't have the time to go to a civil surgeon, because of problems... :-D I had to help my husband look for a job first(for I know this is very important because he got fired from work). We had to get our marriage license and got married. Since we couldn't get a job for my husband for a month, we decided to move from Arizona to California(took us a long time), because we had to clean the house for a week... too much junk.

We got here in California and helped my husband get a job. Fortunately, we were able to get a nice job for him, and decided to complete all forms, excluding the I-693. After a few days, we received a notice from USCIS --- biometrics appointment and initial interview appointment. I'm done with my biometrics, and since then, we did not receive any RFE letters.

I hope everything will be okay. My doctor is Vietnamese and we are having communication problems... because he would want to perform another PE and want another Xray. I did not allow him because it's not necessary(according to USCIS' website). Well, my husband and I will talk to him about it... because he did not copy all information on my vaccination worksheet when I had my medical exam in the Philppines.

B) Thank you, Geoff and Margareth B)

I agree with Cali-

Don't bring up any minor mistakes and you may not have any RFE's. At the interview you may be asked to verify info on the G3325-a At that time you can explain any minor mistakes if neccesary.

If your Medical 693 was signed by the LA civil surgeon and he marked the box that all vaccines are up to date then it should be no problem, again don't worry about anything unless you get an RFE!

Don't forget to ask the civil Surgeon for your Copy of the I693, and be sure to verify that all your vaccines are up to date and the Surgeon cleared you.
