We just found out today that after 27 days in AP, our petition is on its way to London... hang in there, Steve S and the rest. Call them now... you may be surprised. We are here for you... this uphill battle is not over by a long shot yet. Prayers out that the rest will be freed soon! Much love and prayers to be reunited with your loved ones soon. xxx :) Malena

Congratulations! I am SO happy to see they are doing this faster than they were

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Great news Melena... You got there the same day as us... I just had another guy tell Call back Friday...

Our petition was approved more than a month ago however we haven't received Packet 3 or heard anything from the US Consulate. I'm starting to wonder if our petition is stuck at the NVC for AP. Can anyone tell me how I can find out if this is the case?

I have been in AP at NVC for a month now and someone called me from there asking for my ex wife... I knew who it was and what they were trying to do. I gave them her cell # and said call her if you want to talk to her but we are divorced and have been for some time. I expect to be off to the consulate tomorrow...

Wow, this is the first time I've ever read about NVC doing something like this. Are you familiar with any other similar instances?

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

I heard about 1 other person getting the call from the same # and he missed it while in AP @ NVC... he was approved shortly after.. This is actually a common practice for those in AP at the consulate stage.. I have heard two people in the past week in AP @ HCMC alone getting same type of inquiry... but that call originated in VN whereas mine was NH....

This is very interesting, as it seems to indicate that AP @ NVC can entail fraud prevention checks as well as name checks and/or SAOs.

look back to the beginning of this month and you will see a reference to a call from the same # I got a call from 603-334-9400... if you do a reverse lookup it says NH cell #.. but if you call the number.. it is an interesting message...lol

I am still trying to get through to the normal # to see if they can give me a status of the case..

Call the NVC at 603 334-0700. They are open 8:00am to 12midnight EST. If you get a busy signal, keep trying. When you do finally reach an operator, you will need to supply them with your USCIS receipt number, names and date of births of both the petitioner and the beneficiary. Ask the operator the status of your petition... you should ask if you are in AP. If not, then ask when it was sent to the consulate. Also, get your Case #, you are going to need this when you contact the consulate or the DOS. Good luck on your journey. :) Malena & Paul

I'm out! And no I don't mean out of the closet... not that there's anything wrong with that...

Ok yeah I am feeling a little high at the moment... I knew it would happen this week and sure enough when I called she said it left today... So our interview should be around Christmas...

Billy, She asked me why you didnt answer the phone when she called you.... it was the same # that you got on caller ID and it still has the same message when you call it...

The best estimate at this point if someone gets Actual AP is to expect a month and if less than that its great... nothing can be done to speed up the FBI check... nothing .. so dont let it get to you if you are in it.. treat it like a rip tide... just go with it and it will let you go before too long... fighting it just wears you out and does no good....
