I had called these people 2 weeks ago and they said they would create a ticket, I really dont know what to think anymore because we are over the 6 months processing time which it was before but as of June 2009 according to their website K1 processing time is 5 month, what is going on, does anyone share in this too. Oh and it's VSC. Gees!

I had to call the other day myself... they gave me a referral number. Did they give you a number also? I spoke to a USCIS officer and NOT just the customer service rep.... I would suggest you call again, get transferred to a 'real' officer and submit a service request.

Regardless of what the operator told you, I find this extremely hard to believe. I have submitted service requests in the past, and this is done through the usual CS agents. The only way you can speak to a real officer is to make an InfoPass appt.

K1: 01/15/2009 (mailed I-129F) - 06/23/2009 (visa received)

AOS: 08/08/2009 (mailed I-485, I-765, & I-131) - 10/29/2009 (received GC)

Untrue.

The Tier I CSRs are contractors. While they can submit a service referral request, they have no access to information beyond what you can see yourself in the Case Status Online on USCIS's website.

Tier II are actual USCIS officers. They have access to more detailed (and often more accurate) data. The Tier I CSRs will try to dissuade you when you ask to be escalated, but they are required to escalate your call to a Tier II IO if you request it. Be persistent.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

Learn something new every day. I stand corrected. Wish I knew this earlier!

So I just called these people again and they said they cant create another Service Request since they created one for us a week ago... She said we just need to wait another 30 days and if we dont hear from them to keep calling. She said I can schedule an appt online to speak to someone at VSC to see if anything could be done. I really told her my mind that people's life are dependent on this and it doesnt make sense to be waiting for months after it's past the processing date... of course that didnt help anything

I would recommend one more call back and get the referral number. IF in 30 days you do not have an answer the next step will require that number.

I can imagine your frustration. I was a bit antsy already when I hit the 5 month mark so I contacted my senator twice. I am not sure if that helped but I got my NO2 last week.

Contact your Senator and your Congressman ASAP. I would call them back, get the ticket number, and keep waiting..
