Hi there everyone! I'm new to this site and I know that VJ has helped everyone to be with their loved ones abroad I hope they can do the same for me. Anyhoo, I'm confused about the I-129 form because it is also being use for K3 visa, and we are applying for K3. Can anyone show me an example of the cover letter for this? not for fiance but for spouse. pls pls... thanks everyone..

Hello :)

this Question is Simple

if the I-129F is used alone and sent to USCIS so this is a k1 (fiance Visa ) for non-married couples

if the I-129F is sent in combination with I-130 to USCIS then its K3 (spousal Visa) for Married couples ...

cover letter is away to make sure the officer can see whats inside by a fast way ..so its something u r the one who should work with ...but if uask about examples ...the Guides is full of them :)

Good Luck in ur Journey

You actually DO NOT want to send them together as thats not the process.

After you receive the NOA1 for the I-130, send that with the 129f.

A cover letter is simple.

You just state the purpose of the petition(k3 visa), what is enclosed(a bulleted list, if you like) and thats it really.

Good Luck :)

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!
