You can see the way the way the information was presented in the original news article. "Don't worry citizens... WE are watching out for you from those nasty wasties over there..." IF the article has been written more like "Gasp! Can you believe what is happening to the funds of our poor innocent citizens just trying to send money to loved ones by the mean ole government???" there would have been public reaction.

Profiling and blatantly bigotry is what I thought this country has been diligently trying to irradicate... now it's quite the high fashion. I had to read over and a sign one of those threatening sexual harrassment policies the other day and it got me to thinking... don't do anything to the opposite sex that might possibly in the slightest way be misunderstood to the point of sterility--OR FACE THE MOST DIRE CONSEQUENCES THAT WILL FOLLOW YOUR RECORD... but by all means stand around the water coolers and make horrible, derogatory remarks about arabs and insult my religion to the 9s and have a good knee slap. It's the patriotic thing to do. PAH! Direct contradiction.

I'm sorry,I'm really NOT trying to hurt someones feelings,but it is a fact that 9/11 happened and I strongly believe the USA should do anything and everything to avoid something like this in the future.Would those people that killed more than 3000 innocent men,women and children been checked properly then 9/11 wouldn't have happened and all the children that have lost their Mommies and Daddies (not to even mention all the great Military Personal that lost their lives in Iraq and Afghanistan ever since 9/11 !!!!) wouldn't be crying theirselves to sleep each night!

I'd rather have them check each and every Middle Easterner out 5 times in a row to MAKE SURE he/she is no danger to the USA and the people living there,than just letting them in and 9/11 happens all over again.

And yes I DO know that there are "home grown" terrorists too.Like Tim McVeigh in 93 who blew up the Oklahoma Federal Building.But that guy got what he deserves.

Think of the relatives that have lost their loved ones almost 5 years ago!!!!!! I'm sure if one of you would have lost someone by the attacks on the WTC and the Pentagon you would understand why the USA deals with people from the MIddle East the way they do.

Were you aware that the visas of at least 2 of those terrorist were passed under the table through the Saudia consulate and NEVER SCREENED? No one here has ever questioned the reason for screening, but I had a $25 money wire stopped. How much terrorism is $25 going to fund anyway? This is what we are talking about here.

Do you hear the news? 17 Canadians recents with their plan for a terrorist attack! It's NOT JUST MIDDLE EASTERNS PEOPLE.....NEWS FLASH!!!! Amy, I feel the same way you do. I see how beaten down Mohammed is getting by being profiled. He's just a guy trying to live his life. I am outraged at the implication that we are somehow less sensitive and sympathetic to the tragedy of 911. It's opinions like these that make me embarrassed of my country and make me question my husband's and my decision to come back here.

OK the reason I even read something posted on this forum is because it was about Western Union and I send money via Western Union to my loved one.

Secondly,

whenever one of your loved ones IS in the end entering the country,he/she had been checked out very well and that should make people shut their mouths.

Besides that,I AM the German ,my loved one lives in the USA and has served in Iraq.I don't care how bad the security checks on me are because it's for the saftey of people like my Jim who lives in the USA.

And just to add one thing here,

my 5 (!!!!!!!) year old boy has been beaten to the ground by 2 muslim boys that live in our neighborhood because he happenes to be an American and we put the flag (Stars and Stripes of course) outeach year since 9/11 happened.

And now you wanna tell me something about racism???

They (NOT ALL but some) teach their KIDS to beat up an innocent child just because he's an American!

I have never said all people from the Middle East or all muslims are that way,but how the heck would you feel if you see your 5 year old son bruised up after something like this.It took two grown ups to make them stop beating on my child.Ray didn't do anything to them!!

When Jim was still here the muslims in my neighborhood treated him like ####### they even tried messing up his car which had Army license plates,I'm being called names for loving a US Citizen...........Like I said ,tell ME about racism!

And for all of you that yep about America this much,you know when I lived in Texas people used to say : America-love it or leave it!
