SATURN FINALLY GETS HIS PERMANENT RESIDENCY !

Hello friends, old and new :yes:

Well, here I am, with my passport finally bearing that all-important stamp, after a successful AOS Interview in Charlotte, North Carolina, last Wednesday (8th February).

In the end the 'interview' itself was a non-event as our interviewer said he was happy with our 'bona fides'. There was no request for 'evidence' of our relationship...such as all the photos, cards, emails, utility bills etc. that we had taken....A little disappointing really, given that this took quite a while to put together :whistle:

However, there is no disguising my/our relief that I am now done with 'Immigration'.....for the next 10 years anyway. We married on 27th September 2003 and it has taken almost two and a half years of the US 'immigration process' to arrive at this point.

I offer all of the people whom I have 'met' through Visa Journey a heartfelt thank you (particularly my 'lost in the system' K-3 buddies from 2003/4) for your friendship, support, advice and help during my time as a member here.

I intend to continue to drop in here from time to time but, of course, my life in the US now has new direction and I may not always get the opportunity to 'visit' as often as in the past.

With every best wish to all Visa Journey members, wherever you are in the 'system'. I am another 'proof', if that is needed, that there IS an eventual end to this long journey to become legally resident ! :yes:
