Morning everyone!

Trail - I am so happy that your nephew's surgery went so well! I was crossing my fingers you him yesterday, so I'm happy to hear that they think they improved it so greatly!

So I was driving home the other day and my washer fluid refused to come out in the front or back. Not such a huge issue today again as its -22C outside, but my baby is now in the shop cuz I think the pump is gone :(

Thanks Danu!

Blah!

Unless it was just frozen and wanted a trip to the mechanic's shop to warm up

That is an amazing offer. Theres so much beauty for you to see, plus if its the summer it won't be as cold as if you were attempting now. I can only imagine how wonderful the views would be. Possibility of seeing whales out there, maybe polar bears on the ice depending on how close you get. Its definately a difficult choice to make though, but I'm sure whatever you pick to do will be right for you. (If you do choose to go though, I expect lots of pictures )

Yeah..... I was thinking of the beauty as well. It would be pretty darned intimidating too. But TOTALLY. We want pics!!!!!!!

I was looking at westjet prices the other day, to Calgary - they have seat sales, one way, for $169.00! Plus the flight is non-stop - so only 5 hrs 35 mins. But I don't like flying.

Nice! But I don't know anybody in Calgary. :(

I'm watching the seat sales to Seattle. There's a pool party in Vancouver this summer at my cousin's house and I'm wanting to go. LOL

part of me hope that was it as it just started doing this when it got super cold again yesterday, but another part of me hope the pump is broken because its a brand new car under warranty so at least then I shouldn't have to pay for anything.

So I finally got my first issue of Food Network magazine in the mail the other day and WOW talk about overwhelming! Soo much information, so many recipes to try!

There's even a recipe for homemade Oero cookies... I am going to try that this weekend. There's even this awesome recipe for Lulus cupcakes and they have a ganache icing on top... SO YUM!

Ahh screw diets. :P

Whatcha buildin, Charles?

Hopefully it wasn't just the windshield washer fluid. If you don't have the good winter stuff with sufficient anti-freeze in it, it'll freeze up on you. I vote for a broken pump too! lol

Pool party?

In Vancouver???

Dates, location...hee hee.

Prices of flights have been so ridiculously cheap, that it makes one wonder.

Like last week I looked at how much it would be to/fro ORD/FLL: with Spirit Air (hee hee): $56 total!! That was for next week.

I haven't checked again...prices fluctuate tons.

I also saw that a flight to Seattle or Vancouver was not so much different (under $200...I forget now)...I was looking last week for the end of February.

Well, as it is I will be driving to Montreal and then back here and then packing and moving and then driving to my beloved Westcoast.

The Arctic journey is one of a lifetime. :D

I would not only take photos I would video it and put short ones on YouTube.

My fear is two fold: what kind of gear would one need, and, the strong possibility of being iced in.

I have my up-North sources and so will be inquiring and researching tons.

Things fluctuate though...ebb and flow...like life. Hee, hee.

What happened last few years is no indication of the present and future.

I imagine the feeling of it...the eternal sunshine...the storms...the huge waves...the blue ice...the wildlife...wow...takes my breath away.

At this point I am a 30-70.

30% going, 70% chicken.

:P

I have been emailing with the captain and we'll see.

I'm sure he has a choice of crew...and so....

Yes, they're pretty much the same. Except if you have the Southwest DING! feature installed on your computer. Every day there is a different seat sale. But you can only get those prices on that day and only if you book through DING!. If you try to book through the regular channels you will just get the regular seat sales..... not the crazy seat sales. I plan to spend ~ $160 return.
