I cant wait. I still ahve to head to the Krogers and get the rest of the stuff I need. Ive never made them before so hopefully they turn out. Being in Columbus has made me so domesticated. Back in TO, I NEVER would have cooked or baked as much as I do here, lol

Also, this came on my Ipod this morning and I totally thought of Sprailenes and couldnt wait to get the lappy set up to post..LOL!

Sprailenes- I went and listened to that song just because my name is Amy and I have to say that I love it! It makes me laugh my butt off! It's very clever of her and sounds like she's doing better. It's a great album all around and I'm not a huge Britney fan. Good for her. I hope that things turn up for her!

Some oldies but goodies. I know Im guilty of MANY lol! Enjoy! (Should I have started a new thread for this? I didnt think it warranted one)

Why do we press harder on a remote control when we know the batteries are almost dead?

Why do banks cha rge a fee on 'insufficient funds' when they already know there is not enough money?

Why does someone

Believe you when you say there are four billion stars; but have to check when you say the paint is still wet?

Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard?

Why does Superman stop bullets with his chest, but ducks when you throw a revolver at him?

Why do Kamikaze pilots wear helmets?

Whose idea was it to put an 'S' in the word 'lisp'?

If people evolved from apes, Why are there still apes?

Why is it that no matter what color bubble bath you use the bubbles are always white?

Is there ever a day that mattresses are not on sale?

Why do people constantly return to the refrigerator with hopes that something new to eat will have materialized?

Why do people keep running over a string a dozen times with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down, pick it up, examine it, then put it down to give the vacuum one more chance?

Why is it that no plastic bag will open from the end on your first try?

How do those dead bugs get into those enclosed light fixtures?

When we are in the supermarket and someone rams our ankle with a shopping cart then apologizes for doing so, why do we say, 'It's all right?' Well, it isn't all right, so why don't we say, 'That really hurt, why don't you watch where you're going?'

Why is it that whenever you attempt to catch something that's falling off the table you always manage to knock something else over?

In winter why do we try to keep the house as warm as it was in summer when we complained about the heat?

How come you never hear father-in-law jokes?

The statistics on sanity is that one out of every four persons is suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.

Yea see I didn't like her earlier stuff at all, and yes I know shes as manufactured as it gets and people are running her show, but she is great at executing it all.

I told Amanda this my two very guilty pleasures is: Hilary Duff and Britney Spears.

Its fun music and I don't have to think while listening to it. A lot of my music makes me think or makes me feel. Britney is just fun. Thats all. :D

I have a question.

Yes, and you can call me lazy for not researching it.

Can anyone here tell me if I have to keep any of the mounds of paperwork (K1, AOS) for any future use?

I am in the 2 year conditional "green" card portion of the fun.

Will I need any of this to:

1. remove conditions?

2. get the next 10 year card?

3. to naturalize?

:help:

Have seen those oil/gas additives that 1 can buy that is suppose to lower ur emissions, no clue if they actually work!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1
