expedite interview

i would like to ask,we want to request for an early interview.. what are the criterias qualified for expediting process? and if were going to email NVC about it what should we include in our letteR?

I am the wife of rmncm,just write your reason why you wanted to request for your early interview,because in my case my husband explained to the NVC about my status since i am pregnant, we do even send them my sonographic result of my prenancy then we ringed up NVC CS then they told us that our case got expedited...we actually never expect this,we only request early interview but we are just so lucky they grant it from us...then they moved our case to the embassy and we also faxed another letter and new sonorgraphic result of my pregnancy stating that we are requesting early interview again,then that was last monday, i and my husband went to embassy site and click our case then we found out that i already have my medical and interview appointment...then last friday i recieved my packet4(interview appointment)......

>so Just state ur reason y u wanted to have an early enterview.....then they are going to study your case and wait for the result....just do it...... there is no harm in trying....

what did u include with ur email? my hubby is an active military so ive been thinking wat he can put as a supporting docs. for the request.. thanks

My husband is actually not a military,we just actaully try our luck of requesting early interview, since one of the NVC operator adviced us to email a letter to the NVC stating my case,

this is actaully the email letter we sent:

My wife is currently pregnant with our first child and based on the speed that our I-130 was approved and the speed at which you fine people are working on your sometimes overwhelming case loads, I see the possibility of getting our case complete far ahead of what we could ever imagine. Based on the research I have done to get our case this far, I have found that the US Embassy in Manila is usually booked out about 2 months in advanced. For my wife and I, before we ever started this process, we knew we wanted to start a family together as soon as possible with the full understanding that a CR1 visa would take around 10 to 12 months. Due to the speed at which the USCIS and the NVC are moving we see the possibility of being done with everything in December. I am asking if there is any way we can put in a request to get the earliest interview possible, early December maybe even the end of November, barring all of our remaining paperwork is in order (DS230). As I stated, my wife is currently pregnant with a projected due date from her last exam of February 6, 2009 and a on line calculation of January 27, 2009. As per airlines policy most wont allow a pregnant woman fly about 4-6weeks prior to her due date. A quick calculation shows that if we was to get a early interview date and we had no issues with our documentation, my wife could be here about 1 ½ months before her due date. As we researched the implications our having a child we knew the that after the baby was born, we would have to file for a birth abroad and also file for a US passport for our child. This process can take from 1-2 months and most airlines will not let a child under the age of 3 months fly. Also to compound this issue the paperwork in the Philippines moves at a snail pace and sometimes it can several months to get a official birth certificate. As you can see if we could get a early interview date, we could avoid this un-lengthy delay.

Based from what i've read expedite case is barely approved with out valid reason....one that i know is emergency cases like people are already dying and they wanted to see u,then medical problem...so on and so forth anyway if could find out the link i could send it to u for ur references...

btw, do they have ur ds230 already when they forwarded ur case to USEM?

I actaully submitted last august at the NVC but i got an RFE on question number 20...so i sent twice to them,but they already forwarded it to the USEM so the USEM will handle my RFE so i am going to submit new ds230 at on the day of my interview. so vj careful of ur ds 230 on question number 20 always put the word "PRESENT" on it

actually my case is almost complete.. it was suppose to get completed 1st week of this month but i got RFE also but its the whole package of my AOS.. so my hubby request for his tax transcript but it will take almost 10 days, so im hoping to get an expedite interview so i can just bring my AOS also on the day of the interview..

ohhw bad!but hopefully u can get expedite aswell..... but if ur case is already at the USEM they will handle ur case so with ur RFE but if still at the NVC it will takes 2-3 weeks for the RFE cases before they approved but sometimes its only takes 1 week.....

that's better,well if your going to call prepare ur case number,benificiary name,benificairy birthday,and petioner's name,birthday and ofcourse ur petioner's contact number then talk to the NVC CS,ask them what is ur concern...hope this information could help.............

Well as my wife said, I requested a early interview based on her due date of January 29th and it was approved. And I faxed the request to USEM on Saturday Sept 27th on on October 1 the expidite was approved. They made our appointments riht away (monday philipine time) for Oct 15 medical and Oct 22 interview. Now the one thing that might make a difference is my wife is a Doctor but I am not sure if that has any thing to do with our approval. Maybe it's just my letter was filled with facts and it wasn't a emotional request. Maybe they just didnt want more paperwork after the baby was born! Who knows why we were approved but I am thankful for it.
