Finally I am done with my medical exam. No more paranoia......no more stress thinking about the result.

To those filers who will have their up coming medical exam, just read my experience. It might give you some insights.

DAY 1

1. Be early. I went there at 5am and I got the #54, hehehe quite late.

2. Present these to the guard.

a. Appointment letter.

b. Instruction letter from USEM (have it photocopied at 2 pcs.)

c. Passport

d. 3 pcs. 2x2 pics with your name at the back (use black pen)

3. The guard will give you 3 forms that need to be filled up (Patient Data Sheet).

4. Then pass it at the reception area where you will have a dig. pic. taking and encode it in their system.

5. You'll be asked to go to 5th floor for the payment of the Medical exam (10,027.45 this is their current currency rate).

6. After payment, you will go to next floor where vital signs, height, weight and eye test are to be made.

7. Then, go to the 3rd floor for the x-ray. Note: To those who have long hair don't forget to bring a clamp or rubber band. I have long hair and I didn't bring any hehehehe luckily someone lend me her clamp.

8. Then next is the Physical examination. You'll be asked to disrobe and wear their gown. The doctor will inpect you from general appearance, skin, genitals and #######. She will asked you to open your ####### to check if you have hemorrhoids (almoranas) or hernia or any diseases that are located in your inguinal part.

9. After that go to the 4th floor for laboratory. They will extract blood from you for HIV test and Urine for pregnancy test.

Note: You will sign a weaver, explaining why we will all undergo HIV test.

10. Then on the 2nd floor, Tuberculin skin test immunization interview will be done.

11. Now you are done with your day 1. You will pass the forms to the check-out counter. They will give you the time for your day 2. The nurse said that I will return at 9am.

DAY 2

I went their at 8am. I am earlier for 1 hour at the said time.

1. I gave my receipt to the guard and he checked my name on his master list that was encoded in their system.

2. After seeing my record on the computer he stamped my receipt "Immunization room 2nd floor."

3. So, I went there and passed my receipt to the nurse. There are chairs in the waiting area. All the applicants are waiting for their names to be called. Their mic is not that clear so you better listen carefully. I was called twice because I can't barely hear their voice. It's really vague.

4. I entered the immunization room and gave my passport to the doctor. She gave me 3 shots.

a. Anti-measles,mumps, rubella

b. Anti-Cervical cancer

c. TETANUS, DIPHTHERIA PERTUSSIS (Tdap)

5. Then I went at the ground floor (releasing section). Again, I sit their and waited for my name to be called.

6. When it was my turn. They asked me for 2 pcs. of 2x2 pics and told me to sit down and they will call me again later.

7. After 10 mins. my name was called. I was asked to sign my medical results.

NOTE: They will not give you your medical result and the passport. They will be the one to forward it to USEM.

Also, they are not giving away films for the x-ray. The x-ray result is put in a disc and the disc is labeled

with our name and birthdate. (They are more hi-tech now and faster too).

8. They only gave my vaccination document worksheet. And then they said I'm done.

9. I was surprised, it took me 1 hour only for day 2. I went out 9am. By the way during my day 1, I finished until 11am.

10. It is really good to know that they are working faster now.

P.S. Never get paranoid, get worried, get stressed. Just entrust it all to the Lord and you will be fine.

Well friends, I need to sleep now cuz my arms are swelling, they are still aching.

Good luck to all and God bless.

Don't worry about the medical exam. It's just like medical exam in some of the hospitals in our place. It is just that they are the credited medical center for US applicants. Good luck to your medical and don't forget to pray.

I'm glad to hear that you never had any bump in your medical.

But I would like to ask if,... How we will know if we didn't pass or we failed in the medical?

If they see something wrong with your medical report, they will tell you and advice to undergo treatment. If you have no problem with the result, they will tell you that they will be the one to forward your passport and medical result at USEM for your upcoming interview. So. that means you passed the medical exam.

If they see something wrong with your medical report, they will tell you and advice to undergo treatment. If you have no problem with the result, they will tell you that they will be the one to forward your passport and medical result at USEM for your upcoming interview. So. that means you passed the medical exam.
