Hello everybody. Today has been pretty much a write-off at work. Came in, ran some reports, went to lunch with my former staff, and now I'm logged into VJ. All in all a good day.

I guess the fact that I didn't post the part where the Canadian stores took them off voluntarily kind of left the story wanting

I am going up to Canada next week on Wednesday for a camping trip/family get together.

Basically we'll be near a little town called Matatchewan near Kirkland Lake....its going to be a 14 hour drive.

Its actually their hunting ground and since my mom's up hunting now, thats where we're all gonna meet. Bah not looking forward to the drive.

Had a very bizarre experience last night - have an ex boyfriend on Facebook and we got to chatting last night.. strange.. anyway.. he's like fallen madly for this girl and all the things that I saw at the time (the pain, the running away, etc). you know classic bad boy stuff.. he's dealing with, she's making him deal with if he wants to be with her... she's good for him, and he apologized for the things he did to hurt me.. amazing really. and he said thanks.. thanks for being good to me. Which is really cathartic in a non-emotional way. ya know.. you don't always get chances like that to debrief. He moved not long after we broke up, so i never had those "closing' moments with him.. funny that.. I like happy endings.

Good morning! Had a training day yesterday, guest speaker and all that. I don't know sometimes about what people think is good training. Everyone was raving about it, but it was pretty basic to me. Most of the volunteers in this program are older, and they should know this stuff already...they were acting like it was rocket science. Oh well...I was in, and am in a lousy mood these past few days. Very discontented, critical, I think I'm reading far too much current events. I am someone that is often times too serious. I need some fun this weekend to get me out of this mood.

Okay, I leave you with this lovely cup of coffee and a wish that you enjoy your day, and weekend if I'm not on in the morning tomorrow (Gene's off, maybe we can go away for the weekend! )

Emancipation-that is great that you got closure. There is one ex boyfriend in particular (my first love) that I have never truly gotten over and he is SUCH a manipulative git. To this day he still contacts me every time he breaks up with a girlfriend, befriends me like old times, then stops calling/messaging/emailing me when he gets a new girlfriend. I fall for it every time!!

She was a true frenemy and I guess I felt obligated to be her friend as she did mine I am sure. I wanted to actually write her an email and tell her why, but I figured some things are best left unsaid, so I don't actually think I got any closure on the situation. But I also don't feel the need to be confrontational or give reason for my decision. Sometimes its just nice to block someone from your life. Besides I don't think she'd understand anyways because her head is up in the clouds.

Yeah that's always a hard one. But its always nice to have closure in the sense that you're no longer obligated to be their friend, spend time together, take phone calls . . . . . It just too draining with frenemies.
