I had biometrics today, we arrived 25 mins early and had it done 5 mins before the appointment time. It was quick and painless :) No touches since July 3rd, but I guess I won't expect any, given everyone else's experience! We won't be transferred as I am adjusting from VWP, but congrats to everyone who's been transferred so far!

Removing conditions:

10/9/10 - Package sent to Vermont

10/13/10 - NOA1 date, received 10/18

Is cris email web page working? I checked and same status. I called 1 800 # and says system temp down try later. And I tried going back to main menu, entered case # again and nothing changed on case status. Weird and tired of waiting.

OK, I am a little bored at work today, so I looked at the timelines for AOS since last October. A few statistics:

248 of 755 applications (33%) with NOA dates from October 2007 thru May 2008 were transferred to CSC. However, from mid-May to mid-June, 19 of 100 were transferred (only 20%).

Of the cases transferred since last October, only five have had interview dates (one of them had the interview cancelled and the GC subsequently issued).

For cases transferred between April 2008 and July 2008 (74 cases excluding those with RFE's), the average days from NOA to transfer date has been 31 days. Only six were approved over 40 days with 2 of those over 50 days.

Conclusions;

If you filed AOS recently, you:

1) Have a 1 in 3 chance of getting transferred to CSC (unless the mid-May to mid-June data indicates a real trend change over the previous six months - then it is 1 in 5);

2) Have 98% likelihood of having the GC issued without interview if you do get transferred;

3) Most likely won't be transferred if your NOA was dated more than 40 days ago (about an 8% chance after 40 days, only 3% chance after 50 days).
