hi,

im just wondering which is more advisable thing to do i will let my fiance call the USEM to set an interview appointment for me or il be the one to call them? I just notice that wen the beneficiary is the one who cols for their appointment, the customer service in USEM will gona ask if we already received the confirmation letter from them and once they found out that we havent have that yet, they will automatically tell us "that we just call them after 2 weeks." :crying:

and i also noticed that once the USC or the fiance from the US is the one calling them they will automatically entertain our fiance n give an interview appointment without any hesitation as long as the USEM received the hard copy already even without the confirmation letter yet . give me ur insights about this thing so i know wat to do...

oh yah dis is my case

NVC sent it june 18 and the consulate received it last june 23 9am in the morning ( i track it thru DHL)

what is the best date to call dem? or im just gonna follow der policy which is wait until my confirmation arrived and one more thing they cudnt even tell me if i they have received our papers .good thing we can trace it thru DHL!

any comments or suggestion will be greatly appreciated

tnx!

Just let your fiance call, it will actually be cheaper. If USEM received your papers June 23, you can have your fiance call tomorrow around 8am Philippine time para di pa masyado busy.

Just a tip though, it will greatly help if you and your fiance chat on yahoo messenger (or skype or msn or whatever chat service you use) before, while and immediately after he makes the call.

When the call center agent has some questions: eg. correct spelling, cellphone numbers, complete address, etc. he could just type the question and you could reply ASAP without him having to dig files just to get the info about you. And when the call center agent gives available dates for interview, he can type it and you can then help choose the best date for you.

That was what we did before, before my fiance dialed the call center number, we got online, hooked up on YM and even opened YM call complete with webcam.. then he called, i was able to give replies even before he typed it coz he would be repeating the question asked from him and i was able to hear it and type my answers and he immediately reads my answer on YM window.

i hope this will help and I wish you the best of luck. God bless always.

I agree with Gay.

They are sooooooo nice with USCs. My fiance called up USEM while we were both online at around 4:30 P.M. We could see and hear each other on skype (with Windows Live as stand by in case Skype would drop the call). I could hear him talking to the call center agent, who asked for my new passport (she saw that it expired already) number, the change of name on my passport, my children's passport numbers, the spelling of their names, their ages, my contact numbers, my home address, etc.

My fiance had no problem answering her questions because I was there ready to supply the info.

Good luck and God bless :star:

1. first you need to call NVC to ask them the exact date they sent your approved petition to USEM.

2. go to this site: http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef

3. let say NVC tells you that they sent your papers to USEM on June 23 then you can write this example as reference: EXP 23 JUN 2008A (pls follow how it is written, use all caps and follow the spacing.. disregard the color though)

4. hit track, then it will show track result summary.. scroll till you see the package going to MANILA, Philippines... it will be a bulk of papers (petitions) this will most likely contain your papers.

hope this helps. God bless and good luck
