Okay you red-blooded Americans--especially those who complain about those illegal immigrants. Let's see how you do on this test with someinteresting questions. How well would you do if you took the citizenship test? Try this out - educational and fun. 24 out of 30 is considered a passing grade. Supposedly 96% of all High School seniors FAILED this test...AND if that's not bad enough, 50+% of all individuals over 50 did too!!,Go to the link below. Take the test and be surprised at what we don't know!

http://games.toast.net/independence/

i'm failing to understand how complaining about illegal immigration is related to the test, as illegals can't take it.

28, btw.

I have to agree.

This test is really one of my biggest Pet Peeves. What the heck do any of these questions really have to do with living in America today? Wouldn't it be much more beneficial to the country and to the citizen to be if the questions revolved more around things that show that they understand and can live and function in the US? The current laws. Some form of "If you needed (fill in blank) the steps you would follow would be (fill in the blank). Many current US citizens in the US could not pass this test, but yet are extremely functional citizens. Shouldn't that be the ultimate goal for an immigrant?

The UK government had this idea and came up with these sorts of questions:

According to Life in the UK, where does Father Christmas come from?

What would you do next if you spilled someone's drink in the pub?

You've unfortunately had that fight and are bleeding from a well-placed left hook. Which two telephone numbers can you call for an ambulance?

What's the minimum time you must have been married before you can divorce?

I got it wrong too, only cause I've been to Ike's "hometown"...Abilene Kansas
I knew the answer having researched it to post on a blog about Planned Parenthood's Margaret Sanger; among her hate-lists was Southern "redneck" whites such as Ike.

I'd never heard that about him. You've gotta' give credit where it's due though. The guy was a military genius. His foresight regarding the interstate system is impressive as well.

Well thats a start, but I guess my thoughts were more along the lines of more critical things than where Father Christmas comes from. Such as who to contact if you have a gas leak.

I have to admit, I kind of laughed at the one about spilling someones drink. But when you think about it that could be a very valid question. On the other hand, there could be so many answers. Who decides if it is correct or not?

Your Score is 19

Very, Very close! A little refresher course and you'll pass.

oh well. I screwed up:

- Which of the following right is guaranteed by the first amendment?

- How many years is a full term for a Representative?

- Which amendment sets the minimum voting age to 18?

- Who becomes President if both the President and Vice President die?

- Why did the Pilgrims come to America?

- How many total Senators are there?

- The Constitution has how many Amendments?

- Who said "Give me liberty or give me death?"

- How many Presidents were assassinated while in office?

- Which of these Presidents was born in Texas?

- How many Presidents have been impeached?

i guess since I hate politics I have no knowledge of anything, so i'll have to study it when I apply for citizenship

The UK government had this idea and came up with these sorts of questions:

According to Life in the UK, where does Father Christmas come from? Grandmother and Grandfather Christmas.

What would you do next if you spilled someone's drink in the pub? Start swinging.

You've unfortunately had that fight and are bleeding from a well-placed left hook. Which two telephone numbers can you call for an ambulance? What's a telephone? As a matter of fact, what's my name?

What's the minimum time you must have been married before you can divorce? As soon as I get my Green Card.

85% on the other one. I still get in the gate.

I agree. Of course, I only scored an 80% so I should probably have my citizenship revoked....
