Mine hasnt reached the NVC yet either, we were apprvd on 4-02-08. What is the deal with the CSC?

We were approved too last April 2 & NVC still don't have our papers. I had high hopes that we will get out case number within this week. :crying:

My fiance called CSC this morning, the lady told him to call back in the afternoon as their server is slow during Friday mornings. He called back later in the afternoon and the lady confirmed that CSC sent our papers to NVC only last April 15.

 My bet is they waited until the crate is full then shipped it off to NVC. Yours is probably in that crate too.

Just wondering, Did they ever update your case online or does yours say still pending too?

They updated it on April 7 which was 5 days after NOA2 receipt date.

They still havent updated mine, it still says pending and last touch was on 2-27-08

You can give em a call to make sure, and also you can ask question like in what basis does CSC send approved cases to NVC, that would sorta help most of us that havent gotten case numbers yet.

Cheers! :)

You call the NVC and ask if they've recieved it. Once you have your NOA2, the USCIS won't provide any more updates.

I just called the NVC and still have no record of the case. It is a month this week since approval. Next, I will call the CSC when they open up; they are still sleeping, although, that's an oxmoron as they are ALWAYS sleeping!!!!

Ok, I called CSC and was told that my case was sent to NVC on April 17th. So, with better luck, alot of us should be receiving NVC case numbers this week, ofcourse, assuming that transport between source and destination is by automobile. If it is by pony, well, stay tuned a bit longer.

That's great new if true. I'd heard from other saying the USCIS won't give you any updates after the NOA2. Did you can USCIS or did you call the CSC directly? If so, what number?

Yeah, what number did you call at CSC? It's been 4 weeks since NOA2 for me and NVC still doesn't have our case!!! Pony express could have gotten it there faster :P

I called the CSC today :

1. Im still showing pending online, while i have NOA2 hard copy

2. NVC still hasnt recieved my petiton

Tried to find out if why they havent updated the system, (maybe could be reason they are holding my petition)

and tried to find out the date it was sent to the NVC.

I just got the same ol get your vasoline out, im still within normal processing times and im pending, I was like #######, i i have NOA2 hardcopy , the csr said they have no record of it and just to wait for it to go to the NVC. What do they mean they have no record of it ? Just goes to show how disorganized this agency is

You all are too patient with the hibernating bears! Now that I managed to squeek into the tiny group of April approvals, I am one of you waiting for NVC to receive. By Igor's list of approvals, it is pretty obvious CSC is in some sort of major shutdown/diversion of effort. Best thing I have seen to explain is the diversion to FBI namecheck memo, or the H1 flood. The more people we get calling asking for when the approved NOA2s got shipped or where they are, the better the chance that someone will wake momentarily from their slumber and actually move over to pick up the missing pile of files and send them to NVC. I think our congressional inquiry is what got someone out of their sleep to actually move our file to get the NOA2. Use your Senator/Congressman - hopefully they are as "pro-immigration/foreigner " as McCain is! One thing about bureaucrats is they don't want to do anything wrong that might interrupt their hibernation before they momentarily wake up for their retirement party and then return to their hibernation/death. The best way to do nothing wrong is to do nothing, then if and only if asked, take care of that and then go back to sleep. With a changeover in their leadership, there is great opportunity to do something wrong by doing something (might not agree with the new boss - so even more important to do nothing.) We need to make the wheels squeek so they get some grease. For those that think that calls to the Service Center slow things down, think again. They have agents dedicated to taking the calls and distributing canned replies/lies about where the files are. (I know how canned responses work - I ran a call center). Occasionally you might get someone to tell the truth and do something. It does NOT take any time away from the Adjudication Officer's sleep so don't worry about that. You won't get anywhere being nasty but be pleasant and try to get some info from them and share it with all or more important, get them to get up and move your file.

Good luck to all, and help the wheels squeek!

I followed Tbone's thread on "how to shake noa2 out of csc". I almost choked when the lady answered, because I wasn't expecting any body to answer. She was nice, and I was super nice to her; she put me on hold for a a minute, then told me the case was sent on the 17th. I was shocked to find that out, because, like most of you, I had a touch a day after approval (approved March 26) and I assumed that was when they shipped it to NVC. But, nope, it was still languishing at CSC untill the 17th
