Hello. My fiance just received his packet from Casa and I have a few questions:

1. What should we expect to pay for everything including the doctor's visit, vaccinations, translations of documents, etc.?

2. What forms come in this packet?

3. What forms in this packet do I, the petitioner, need to sign or fill out?

4. What original forms should I provide to him?

5. Is it better for me to be at the interview with him? Will they allow me to go inside with him?

6. Is there anywhere I can find a copy of the forms he was sent without him having to pay to fax it to me internationally?

7. Any other information I should have?

Thanks.

Salaam Victoria!

Congratulations of packet 3. Alhamdulilah, it arrived. :star::star:

Here is the little that i know and hopefully it will help some.

Hello. My fiance just received his packet from Casa and I have a few questions:

1. What should we expect to pay for everything including the doctor's visit, vaccinations, translations of documents, etc.?

i think they say that the medical is around 1,100 dirhams. Hayati brought a little more than this, but all in all, he ended up spending 995 or something like that for the actual exam. That didn't include train fare or taxi fare.

Translating will depend on who you go to and how much there is to translate. i think we paid about 600 dirhams in total for everything. Try to bring all your documents at once so then you can bargain down the translator.

2. What forms come in this packet?

i think there is a list in the Packet for him to fill out. i know the DS 156K, DS 156, and the DS 157 are needed. But Hayati told me there was some other stuff, too.

3. What forms in this packet do I, the petitioner, need to sign or fill out?

i think you just have to do the affadavit of support?

4. What original forms should I provide to him?

You should send to him all the originals of all the evidence that you sent in with the original petition. And any originals of additional evidence you are providing to show that you still maintain a relationship.

5. Is it better for me to be at the interview with him? Will they allow me to go inside with him?

Hmmmmm... one of the veterans can answer this one better than me...

6. Is there anywhere I can find a copy of the forms he was sent without him having to pay to fax it to me internationally?

Yes, you can find some of the forms on this website, some on USCIS website, and i think the DS-156K needs to be submitted online via the Casablanca Consulate website.

Good luck to you and your habeeb! (F)(F)

Hi Everybody,

Quick question before the interview....

My husband has to pay the visa fee beforehand. Can he pay at any BMCI bank? Or does it have to be a specific one in Casa?

Hmmmm... i'm not sure... i'm a little confused myself. i think before, like last year, you had to pay at the bank beforehand. i don't know why i remember this... but maybe one of the veterans can add some info.

in any event, i e-mailed the consulate and they said Habibi could either pay in advance or on the interview day, directly at the consulate. i don't know which is better or what? we are still undecided about where/when we will pay.

Any thoughts anyone?
