GC production ordered

Wow - just go the email notification from CRIS that the AOS - card production has been ordered.

3½ months to the day I entered the US, approx. 2 full months from receiving the NOA's for AOS/EAD/AP - we received the EAD and AP's yesterday in the mail. And we had an RFE inbetween!!!!!

Let me just confirm a couple things cause my head is spinning atm:

* once I have the GC, it's all I need to travel with outside of my passport when I return home to Canada or where-ever? I can file away the AP doc and it will basically never get used ?

* with GC in hand, I need to return to the SSN office and have them order a new card which doesn't have the' with work authorization only' wording on it?

* I was transferred to CSC, this does mean that I've gotten lucky and skipped the interview piece? WOO HOO

Yeppers--- that and your passport now that it is required.
