Document Checklist for my Interview on Jan 8

hello my VJ Family. Below is my list for the documents to present and submit to the US Embassy in my interview on Jan 8. Please check if I missed something.

in CLEAR FOLDER (for easy way to take out docs)

1. Appointment Letter (original and photocopy)

2. DS Forms

a. 2 sets of DS 156(with picture) and DS 157

b. 1 DS 156K

3. Original NSO Birth Certificate

4. NBI Clearance - for travel abroad and immigration requirement

5. Police Clearances - Makati City and Lucena City

6. Supporting docs for late registered BC:

a. Orgininal copy of Baptismal Cert

b. Original and Copy of Confirmation Cert

c. School Records and Diplomas - Elementary, High School and College

d. Employment Certificate

e. UPLB Alumni Association ID

7. Visa Photos

in CLEAR Books in plastic separates (binder was removed and replaced by yarn stitched at the side)

FOLDER 1 - Evidence of Financial Suppot Documents (Green Folder)

1. (4) copies of Notarized Affidavit of Support

2. Copies of Carl's acceptance letter to Universal Studios and 2 pay stubs (since he just started working here this month)

3. Copies of 2004-2006 Tax Transcripts

4. Copies of 2004-2006 Form 1040 and W2s

5. Others

a. Copies of 2000-2003 Tax Trancripts

b. Copies of 2001-2003 Form 1040 and W2s

FOLDER 2 - Proof of Engagement and Meeting in Person Documents (Blue Folder)

Engagement Docs:

1. Renewed Letter of Intent to Marry - Carl and Beng

2. Engagement Ring Repair Receipt (proxy to engagement ring receipt since it was lost)

3. Engagement Photos (with captions and details)

4. Beng's Wedding Dress Design

5. Wedding Rings Design

6. Wedding/Engagement Announcement in email last April

7. Email replies to the Engagement Announcement

8. Friendster Comment Page

Meeting in Person Docs:

1. Passport with Phil Immigration Stamps

2. Original and copies of EVA Air Ticket and Boarding Passes

3. Original and copies of our Asian Spirit Tickets and Boarding Passes

* Phonebills which are separated in clear plastic separates coz Folder 4 is too thick already

**Each folder has a cover page with the details of its contents

**I also included tabs for easy reference

**Binders of the folders were removed and stitched at each side.

**I'll also bring the original copies (tax documents and NOA2) for reference.

Did I miss anything?

i think u missed your CENOMAR from NSO. you might need it specially that you are applying for a K1 visa.

You might want to make photocopies of items like your birth certificate, police clearances, CENOMAR. Anything you might need for your AOS so that the CO can see the original, and have a photocopy to keep if they want to keep a copy.

You have a great list of documents and seemed to be well prepared. My only suggestion would be to not use the copies of the 1040s and W-2s. The reason why is the original transcripts are considered legal governmental proof, and the big consideration is if the consular asks to see the original 1040s and W-2s.

Thanks for the suggestion. Well, I'm gonna bring as well the original copies of my fiance's tax documents during my interview. but i'm gonna hand them first the photocopies of his tax documents and give them the original docs once they asked for it.
