It's been two weeks since interview and no answer

It's been two weeks now since our AOS interview and we have heard nothing yet. How long does this usually take to get an answer? Our I130 has not been approved yet and it's to my understanding that after the AOS interview, the counselor can push the I130 to be approved or it can still remain pending investigation. How long do I need to wait before contacting USCIS?

Check the case status on USCIS for the I-130 to see if they looked at it recently after the AOS interview.

Yes, I have checked the case status everyday, lol. Nothing.

I would file to extend the EAD (ASAP), it is unknown when the I-130 will be approved, probably stuck is some type of name check.

Do I need to renew it now? It's still good for another year. Same for the K3 visa.

yeah i am so sorry to hear, i thought u carry a good news better than last time, but seem u still waiting. well just be patient, do u know i filed my I-130 more than 3 years ago and still not approved !! insha'allah everything will be ok.

well i will call them in a few weeks, it will be 30 days then. My husband will be gone to Jordan for 6 weeks, traveling on his K3 visa. So when would be a good time to ask for the K3 to be extended and the EAD be renewed?

Wait until 90 days before the EAD expire, then renew it if you don't have green-card.

They aren't passing out drive-thru greencards just yet, you know.

Well now it's 3 weeks and no answer. Going on the 4th.

Maybe not, but he's been in investigation since April, 2006 under the I130. This also effects the AOS interview, you know. Oh, I'm sorry, you should know, you work for an attorney.
