How should we characterise Canadians?

I am interested.......

Growing up in Britain, it is hard to get a good picture as to what Canada/Canadians is/are like (I still find it hard to differentiate a Canadian accent from an American accent). I realise that this says something more about my ignorance than anything else....

Having worked with my company's Canadian office for the last few years, they all seemed to share the characteristic of having a great interest in details.....

Could some of the Canadians help me with what I'm missing out on?

PS - I think it would be best if we could think about the positive attributes ;)

Kind of a geralization...living close to Canada for so long, I've never heard it be said Canadians in general are detail-orientated.

Canadians are cool...i lived near Maine..and went there allot to have a drink of beer with the boys and girls..good people

Yes....Canadians are just like you and me...I'm sure there are some differences, like maybe those with a french background coming from Quebec, but I think they are just us, living a little further north.

They live in igloos, they import full grown plants and watch them die, you can see polar bears in the street, and you can walk from Vancouver to Toronto, and the hippo racing is every Tuesday night, but you have to come naked....
