Just relax, due to H1B processing, notifications for both NOA1 and NOA2 are a bit slow. If you used a personal check you can get the case number off the canceled check and track it online.

Ours was about that long. We called the Nebraska Service Center, and they said that they didn't look into missing packages until 4 weeks from the date they were mailed. I sent my fiance a new copy of the G325-A so that he'd have another original ready to mail if he had to resend the package -- and then the NOA1 came. :)

Hang in there. I know how you feel.

No news yet, but the cash the check last Friday, hopefully we will get the NOA1 next week, I will let you know what happens.

Get your case number off of the check, and set up an account w/USCIS. You can enter the case and sign up for email updates, and also see your NOA-1 date from there.

Mail has been VERY slow if not at all for receipt of the NOA-1 (form I-797). I sent mine in on 4/10/07 and still have not received the I-797.

MV - JR,

Sorry to say it, but you're in for a wait. You've filed during the busy season ... everything slows down (even more than normal). If you look at some of the VJ timelines, you'll see that during spring and summer it gets busy. Think commute hour and you're stopped in traffic wondering: What the heck is the hold up?? It's the traffic - USCIS traffic.

Hang in there -
