a no no to casual wear while going for an interview, no matter what kind of interview it is.

Always remember appearance makes good impression. Wear a semi formal and comfy attire, never rubber shoes. It's not that cold inside the embassy, just bring along a nice jacket just in case you need it.

 I agree. I have seen interviewees wearing casual attire and I don't think it looks appropriate to wear tennis shoes at the interview. You can wear semi-formal attire naman na comfy din. You don't have to wear high-heeled shoes naman. There are flat shoes na formal naman ang dating and looks elegant plus you can bring jacket din if you want pero i suggest na yung hindi naman makapal kasi tolerable naman ang lamig sa USEM.

Madz! mag two-piece ka! JOKE!!!

twas just simple for me. blouse w/ jacket coz its cold there. then jeans and sandal. as long as your top is presentable (like going to an interview attire)... some wore dress talaga and heels but its up to you. most of the ladies during my interview had similarities, like wearing pants could be jeans or slacks and blouses for top... good luck!!!

bring jacket just in case you get cold

hi madz! Honestly consuls do not care at all on how interviewees look like, how they dress and all those stuff. They are just after your documents and on how confident are you in answering their questions. I would suggest you to wear a conservative top meaning not sleeveless or plunging necklines, then jeans and flats. Bring a jacket with you or if you have a cropped jacket/blazer in case you feel cold. Good luck girl. Do not worry, you will be fine...

nobody would care if what you are wearing as long as u are comfortable... on my interview i was wearing jeans and shirt and then i brought with me a jacket :) good luck :)

Lord, help us to remember when we first met,and the strong love that grew between us.

I worn white cotton jeans, 3/4 sleeves blouse and a pair of comfy slippers. It's not that cold inside the USEM especially when it's packed with interviewees breathing in and out to release the tension and nervousness. I saw one girl wearing blue worn out jeans, black top (with spaghetti for straps) and black pair of clogs... what an eye sore. Your appearance kind of affects your personality and the more pleasant looking you are the more likeable you become in the eyes of the pre-screener and CO.
