QUESTION ABOUT VACCINATION"PERTUSSIS"

HELLO,

I WAS READING THE REQUIRED VACCINATIONS AND SHOTS THAT WILL BE GIVEN AT SLMEC (AS MENTIONED IN PACKET 4). ONE OF THOSE IS THE "PERTUSSIS". MY FIANCE DOESN'T LIKE ME TO GET IT COZ HE SAID IT HAS A HARMFUL EFFECT. IT SLOWS THE BRAIN PROCESS. HE DIDNT ALLOW HIS KIDS TO GET IT WHEN VACCINATIONS WERE DONE IN SCHOOL.

CAN I SKIP THAT AND TELL THE DOCTOR I WON'T GET IT?

hi! the answer is YES. the doctor will ask you about your vaccine history and she/he will going to ask you if you will take all the required shots or not. it's up to you.... but, if you cant take it here they will require you to take it in the US... and you will pay for that there, according to others it is more expensive in the US than here and the medical fee we are paying here is already covered all the available vaccines they have. that is what i knew... i hope it helps... tnx!

i suggest you get the shot at SLEC coz you will eventually have to do it anyway. :-)

the civil surgeon in our area said they charge $150 for that vaccine (whoa!!!) its a good thing i didnt need it
