The fact that, as far as I can tell, there has been nothing posted here in OT about yesterday's armed robbery verdicts really shows just how much of a nonstory this man has become.

Thirteen years ago, I was one of the millions watching his murder trial and acquittal on TV. I agreed with those verdicts, not so much because I believed he didn't do it as that I didn't think the prosecution proved it beyond a reasonable doubt. I thought the prosecution really dropped the ball, and he had an outstanding defense team. Since then, we've seen this man thumb his nose at verdicts in civil suits and even write a book about how he "could have" committed the murders. He has carried around this Teflon attitude. And now he may be going away for life, but there's barely a ripple of discussion about it; probably as it should be.

I am curious, though, about who he turned to the left and glared at when the verdicts were read yesterday. The jury? The press?

i dont know the answer to that but beings he is oj he will prolly get out of a lot of the mess he is in when he files appeal.......cuz they have it on tape of how the police officers were bragging that maybe la could not convict him but they would.......i dont know what he is really guilty of but i felt that the prosecutors dropped the ball as u said when they allowed tainted evidence to be used against him in the murder case if they had not the legal team he had would have really had nothing to base their case on and he might have been convicted.......but that was years ago and regardless of how much i feel he is prolly guilty he once again will prolly win in the appeal..

I'm happy he was found guilty. He's finally getting a karmic kick in the as$ for getting away with murder all those years ago. I think the look of shock on his face as he was found guilty was just him in disbelief that his money didn't get him freedom this time.

OJ's defense team did a good job brainwashing a jury of idiots into believing the LAPD had a conspiracy against OJ. They had no proof to counter all the blood DNA evidence.

Now, with all the CSI shows on TV, Joe 6 Pack knows far more the jury ever did.

Yeah, DNA evidence was so 'new' and unheard of back then that it was very easy for the defense to convince the jury that it wasn't reliable or some #######. Nowadays people would know better and he'd be in jail.

And, is it still the case the Goldman's family haven't seen a penny from the judgment they got against him for their son's death?

OJ's chickens have come to roost. #######-a-doodle-do!

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX)

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995

Quite honestly this media invasion into the courthouse has turned these "reports" into a joke. From the media bias against OJ during his 90s trial to the people pretty much thinking they are judge and jury and have all the evidence to convict him by popular vote, I'm sure they're having a good ####### together with this. Anyways, with a guilty verdict here let justice be done and move on. Not paying any attention to the circus surrounding it as it's all for ratings, not to improve the quality of the judicial system.
