I don't even know what to think about these dolls, its not even cute, its just downright creepy.

There's also a documentary where some people have these babies and treat them like their own called: "My fake baby".

I understand if people need some comfort, I mean as a child I wanted a dog and got a Pound Puppy instead. It was almost like the real thing too...well except for the fact that it didn't bark, play, eat, run...hmm come to think of it the stuffed animal was nothing like the real thing.

These dolls look real and thats what I find creepy. Hey the practical jokes could be endless though!

Donne moi une poptart!

We can add a ####### to any of our Realdoll models. We have sold several of these special dolls as custom orders. Choice of ####### size from our selection of sizes can be added. The ####### of the doll can either be eliminated or remain intact depending on the customer's wishes. The cost ranges from $500 - $1,000.

Now THAT is creepy.

Their F.A.Q. is rather enlightening as to the level of creepiness:

PEOPLE: READ THE APPLICATION FORM INSTRUCTIONS!!!! They have a lot of good information in them! Most of the questions I see on VJ are clearly addressed by the form instructions. Give them a read!! If you are unable to understand the form instructions, I highly recommend hiring someone who does to help you with the process. Our process, from K-1 to Citizenship and U.S. Passport is completed. Good luck with your process.

That's like those "Real Baby" dolls they had in the 80's. My daughter had one. My friend called it "Dead Baby".

Reminds on some people's over-the-top attachment to their pets.

I can't find the study but it claimed people who are very attached to their pets are more likely to have divorced parents. Supposedly this kids grow up distrusting traditional marriage as it is likely to fail them do they invest more time and money into their pets.

OMG D= I was fine with the dolls at first. Sure a little creepy but not bad. But then I saw the 'unassembled' doll and it was....like.... a dismembered baby..... Ugh...

You'd have loved the show last night - where you saw the woman "preparing" the dolls by putting them in the oven.

It was on the news this morning. I wasn't really watching it but I agree it's a little creepy. Surely there are better for people to deal with childlessness? Still, if it stops some from snatching babies, I guess it's worth it.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

The one woman that I saw was basically distraught after her only daughter took her grandson to live with her new husband in NZ.

So she had a replica made up to look like him. It was very sad.
