RFE..I-693 Medical Examination and Immunization

We got an RFE today both for me and my daughter...on my application, it says I needed to submit 2 documents, a properly completed and signed Form I-693, Medical Examination of Aliens Seeking Adjustment of Status and it says it should be done by a CS approved by USCIS and also I need to submit the Immunization form or supplemental to I-693.

On my daughter's RFE, it said we only need to submit the I-693 Medical examination form not the immunization form since it has been submitted already so no need to submit another one

I was expecting the RFE for the vaccination but why does it say I needed to submit I-693 Medical Examination Form as well?does it mean I need to have a new medical exam??we had our medical exam last October last year and as far as I know it is valid for a year. I am really confused now, can someone help me pls

Hmmmm, you're not required to have another medical exam if your last one was within the last year (which yours was).

Did you have a civil surgeon fill out a I-9693A & submit with your AOS packet?

I did not submit the I-693A, so I was really expecting an RFE for it. but it says on the RFE aside from the Immunization form I also need to submit the I-693 Medical Examination form.

Maybe it was there mistake? Not that calling always helps - but I'd send in the I-693A.

You don't need the I-693 according to them.

Make an infopass & ask. If not, explain in a letter that she took her exam in October 06 & here is my I-693A.

I tried calling the USCIS and the guy said I can just send them a letter explaining that our last medical exam was less than a year ago and it should still be valid....but yes, I will send them the I-693A immunization form. I hope this wouldnt be a problem cause Im really worried..

The actual wording on the I-485 is

If you are a K-1 fiancé(e) or K-2 dependent who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the nonimmigrant fiancé(e) visa, you only need to submit a vaccination supplement, not the entire medical report. You MAY include the vaccination supplement with your adjustment of status application.

Their wording is not entirely clear that they want the Supplement to I-693 sent with their application. Which is why people don't always send it and why people don't always get RFE's. It is definatly recomended to at least include the DS form from you foreign medical if not your vaccinations in the "I-693A" form.
