They sent my application back because it was missing a signature, but first they put it all in order and got it ready to file. Some people asked for pictures of what that looks like, so here you go!

My original submission was pretty much exactly according to the guide here. Here's what's been changed:

1: Cover letter removed

2: Multi-page forms stapled together

4: A sticker with a case number and bar code has been put at the top of my I-129f

3: My passport photo has been put in a little translucent paper bag and stapled to my G-325A

4: My fiance's passport photo is in the same bag as mine and stapled to MY G-325A, not his.

5: Photos removed from ziploc bag I sent them in and put in a paper envelope with USCIS return address

6: Not sure, but it seems like some of my evidence has been re-ordered slightly.

7: The mailing label and return address from my original submission has been cut from the envelope, stapled to a piece of paper and put at the very back of the packet

8: All of this is held together by a metal clip at the top

I don't suppose this will really help anyone, but those of you who were curious please enjoy! By the way, I did not include dividers or tabs with my original submission and there aren't any now. Oo, also, at the explanation page behind my rejection NOA, there is a field at the bottom that says "ID#_______" and there is a seven digit number stamped in that. I wonder if that shows who looked at my file?

This is interesting. I guess it'll actually help with some questions about how to organize the forms in the package. For one, staples are okay, even though we all thought they hated them.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

That is really excellent information. Interesting, I went through the trouble to make dividers and tabs. Bet those went right into the garbage. Good post, Thanks for that.

I paper clipped everything because i just got too lazy to use those tabs and dividers. Guess I did something right, for once .

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
