Hi everyone, this website was a fantastic help to me when I was struggling through all the paperwork to file for conditional residency 2 years ago!!

Now I am going to sending off all my I-751 papers this week to lift conditional residency. My problem is that my husband is military and we are expecting orders anytime in the next month and it could very possibly be abroad. We would be moving in August this year. What do I do if my case is not completed by then and I have to move abroad??

Hope this helps.

Q. I am in the military and have PCS orders to an overseas duty station; does my spouse qualify for expedited processing of the Petition to Remove the Conditions of Residence (Form I-751)?

A. If you or your spouse has official military orders to PCS overseas, you may ask USCIS to expedite the I-751 petition. Call USCIS at 1-877-4645 before you leave the United States.

You could also call the military helpline given here (it's free)
