My wife and I just got married 2 weeks ago and now preparing to file for her AOS from K1 visa.

I read the guide here but I am not clear about the Medical form I-693. The guide says "If you are a K-1 fiancé(e) or K-2 dependent who had a medical examination within the past year as required for the nonimmigrant fiancé(e) visa, you only need to submit a vaccination supplement (I-693A), not the entire medical report. You may include the vaccination supplement with your adjustment of status application.) "

Does this mean we don't have to fill out a I-693 since my wife did her medical exame before her K1 interview?

I don't think we have any medical document on hand to mail, all K1 related document are in that package taken away at point of entry when my wife entered US

Thanks

First off she should have a DS 3025 vaccination record from her immigration medical.

Second the I-693a is no longer used or valid.

Third she needs to have a USCIS designated civil surgeon fill out the I-693.

Dr Arnold in Taxas does the I-693 trip for $30 by mail. Takes about a week.

i was puzzled about this too, as i never saw my medical sheets including my vaccination form, they were sent to my embassy in syd aus then it was returned to me in the brown envelope that wasnt to be opened but handed at POE, so i havent included the sheet with my AOS, i guess im going to get a RFE but oh well what can i do when they are supposed to have it on file anyway..isnt that the reason we hand the envelope over at POE so they have it on record????

It sucks as the DS 3025 vaccination records is stuck in with the other papers in the sealed envelpe in a LOT of cases. If you don't have it the USCIS designated civil surgeon will determine what you need for the I-693.

Hi Haole,

We ve sent AOS Saturday last week 08/29/2009 and in the package i sent the I-693 sealed in an envelope with the signature of the designated civil surgeon and DS-3025 . Could you please so kind to let me know am I right to put also the DS-3025 with the form I-693 because I heard some of people said that we dont need to send DS-3025 along with I-693. I just fear in case USCIS doesnt need DS-3025 may be they will take longer time to process our papers for greencard....

thanks so much for your kindness,

Huong

Thanks
