i posted this question some other place too but i think i'll get an answer here faster so i'll ask here too.... on the I-134 in the notary section... where it says before me (at) and a line to fill in.. does that mean (at) the county the notary is signing in? we're not sure what she should put there. also where would I mention my child support on this form? Won't they consider that in my income? Thanks

Veiledprincesslayla,

On the child support issue, my feeling is that you could either

- show the child as partially dependent and not include the child support, or

- show the child as fully depenent and include the child support, along with evidence that the child support is being paid (some people have problems collecting it).

My sense is that most people here at VJ recomment the 2nd option.

My notary was from my local bank and she put her stamp on it and signed - she put down the name of the bank on the line where it says "at" and the stamp only has the state's name on it. By the way she didn't mention the city, county or state with the name of the bank just the name. Good Luck
