The fact is that my hunny is in trainig and he would be back the day after my appointment, I would have to drive for 1.30hr to get to the place and yesterday my doctor said I'm on risk for miscarriage and I don't feel to drive alone there cuz I'm worrie something could happen and I don't wanna find myself alone in that case...u think they are going to put me a lot behind if I ask to change the appointment? Thanks for your help!

Most ASC's dont do walk-ins. I wouldn't risk it if I were you. They may extend courtousy, keeping in mind your pregnancy, but you cant be sure of that. My biometrics was held in one of the busiest States in the US, NY and still it didn't take me more than 20 minutes. Try to make it for the appointment date. You may opt for public transport if you feel driving yourself is too much of a trouble. I probably would ask a friend or relative to take me. Otherwise you never know how far they might push your next date.

Not the Baltimore office...they don't allow walk ins. However, I think most of them do.

For exception for me today. I was supposed to have my Biometrics the 16th of May and we went today. We thought that it was a walk in and as long as you have your letter you can go. They scoled us a little but there was almost nobody there so they let us in with no problem. What they told us is that if you miss your appointment it's no big deal, you can go another day just walking in (here in Baltimore).

At the very end.. yea, we've been very lucky (and probably because there was nobody there) and they got us in anyway, but it is something that's not possible to do

Thank you for sharing your experience. Afterall I will probably just go on that date and I hope everything will go for the best. Its too far away to try for a walk in (in case they don't accept me it would really be a waste of time and gas) and I don't wanna risk to get my appointment moved a lot further... Unfortunately we don't have any family here and the only friend that could come with me can't come so I guess I will just have to suck it up and do it myself! Thank you again guys!!
