I've been pricing a ticket to Vietnam for the last 3 months and can tell you that fares there have went through the roof. I was looking at $700.00 for a one way ticket, now it's $1200.00. That's $50.00 more than I paid for a round trip ticket last year.

O.K., I found a few more sites and they're speaking my language (cheapanese). The first is cheapflights.com:

They came back with some great deals to Viet Nam. That query led me to airlineconsolidator.com:

They have some really good prices, but like Best Travel Store purchasing form them may carry some risks. Their website is based in Germany, but they appear to have an office in Chattanooga, TN so legal recourse would be available. The thing about this site is the fact that the lowest fares I had available were through Northwest. When I went to book instead of $800.00 they wanted $4K! The other airlines were accurate though.

I'm sure you know to play around with the dates and days. Tuesdays and Wednesdays appear to be the best days for the cheap flights.
