My I-129f has been sitting idle at CSC since being transferred from Missouri. Is it normal to receive this update? Does EVERYONE receive this when they begin to work on your petition or what? Or does this mean a longer delay? ANY replies would be so much appreciated. I just want to know how common this is and if it is standard???

Um..., huh. That does seem odd. Was that all there was to the message? Perhaps it was a mistake, because they can't possibly be re-transferring an already-transferred K-3, can they? I really hope not. :/

I got one too a few days ago. Our 1 129F was sent to California from Missouri. It was touched yesterday, last time I checked it. I have no idea what this means either. Our I 130 hasn't been touched since October so I was feeling hopeful about the I 129 being touched.

Well, Yes, I did receive a notice back in November stating it was being sent to CSC (look at my timeline). My I-129f has been sitiing there in CSC since then. Until yesterday when I got the email. All it states is this....'Your case has been sent to another office for processing'......That's it, nothing more. ....No explanation of why or where. I guess I should be happy that there is activity after a couple of months of nothing. I hope this means that it is now processing and that they didn't find something in it that they are curious about. There shouldn't be. Anyway, all I can do is wait I guess. I'm just wondering if there is anyone out there that this happened to also???

But did you ever receive a notice saying it was RECEIVED at CSC. Two different notices. One from Missouri saying they are transferring it (your timeline shows 11/9/06) and another one saying it was received and pending at CSC?

The notice you got recently should say in the body (below the case status) which office it's being transferred to and on what date.

Maybe it never really got transferred to CSC until now?

Yes...the firt time it was 'touched' on 11/14, after the transfer to CSC was the receipt at CSC. This is an exact copy of the email that was sent to me. It does NOT say where it was transferred to....

If you did in fact get a receipt notice from CSC, not sure why they are telling you it was transferred to CSC if it's already there. Might just be a notifiction glitch or something.

The thing is....is that I had aleady received this notice before. Everything below the words "Current Status'...I alreday received before. On Nov 9....just like it states?????? Thats why I am so confused....Its the same notice except for the 'Current Status' Heading??????

Actually, CaseyThida, it was yesterday that it was sent to me (Jan 25). And it says it was being sent to another office for processing.....you received that too? How do you know it's just a friendly touch? Did yours say the exact same thing?

It worried me so I called customer service. I thought in the message head that it had been sent to another office. The man, very nice, said that it was taking too long and now put in an expedite on it, although still a couple months from processing date on USCIS website. He said it wasn't suppose to leave Missouri and that it was probably going back there (this I find hard to believe even coming from him). I looked at USCIS online site and had the same message from the transfer notice, therefor, I deduced that it was just a touch. I have never really had my cases touched, but when they have, always the previous message with nothing new. This is my recollection, any advice on what happens with a touch and e-mail messages would be appreciated, since they dont touch mine very often. Yes, both ours had this on 1/25/07!
